If Shaq stayed (and they signed him for seven years), I think they lose to the Bulls in seven in the 1997 ECF. Then, after the Bulls squeak by the Jazz in the 1997 Finals, Krause talks Reinsdorf into breaking it up a year earlier since the team is aging and getting past Orlando won't get any easier.
So, Phil, MJ, Rodman, etc... leave, and Pippen is traded to the Celtics for the sixth overall pick in the 97 draft (the Bulls use it on Tracy McGrady).
As for the Magic, I can see them winning at least three to four titles from 1998-03, when Shaq's contract expires.
