Kobe had a ready-made star in Shaq, while Magic had Kareem and Duncan had Robinson.... and Kawhi had Duncan...

Bird had ready-made FMVP's like Dennis Johnson and also Parish.. Lebron had ready-made stars like Wade, AD, Love, Bosh and Kyrie.

Accordingly, only the GOAT was required to develop weak and low-producing rookies (single-digit rookies) into meaningful producers to win.

I heard Colin Cowherd say that only Magic, Lebron and Jokic elevate teammates, but the reality is that Jordan is the only guy that grew low-producing weak players into meaningful producers on his watch, and also had teammates play near capacity (near career highs) alongside him.. This contrasts with everyone else in history that got ready-made stars and also had numerous bad fits where teammates play far below capacity alongside them.. Accordingly, only MJ truly "elevated" teammates, while everyone else got ready-made stars.

1988 Pippen: 7.9 PPG. :lol

1988 Grant: 7.7 PPG.

1988 MJ: 35-5.5-6-3.2-1.6 @ 53.5%FG
Season MVP ; DPOY; Scoring Title

Had 1988 MJ did not barely reached 50th win.

Pathetic Pippen and Gutter Grant both would've costed MJ every individual accolade.

In so many words, 1985-1990 MJ would've only won ROTY honors to show for his dominant decade, the most dominant since 1960s Wilt.
