A campaign about unity and not talking too much about tough issues. A fun lighthearted campaign supported by the mainstream media where you just say somewhat moderate talking points and not much negativity on your opponent. Where you just call the opponent "weird guy".

It has worked very recently in the Philippines where former dictator's son became the current president. And in Indonesia where a former dictator's son in law become the next president. Both of them uses this exact method created by the same team.


It seems like what the new generation of voters want. They don't really follow politics and will not vote for candidates that has too much negativity. I wonder if the US is there yet.

Nah, they made a mistake with the weird stuff. They think they are branding, but it's a word that so easily applies to them. JD Vance is kinda 'weird,' yeah, but Trump isn't. Pence isn’t that guy. His best moments in 16 were pence laugh.gif. I think the first question should be about the rhetoric and ridiculous political climate that led to Trump getting shot at, then ask them how they plan to handle that. Would be a great jump off for a policy debate.

He said that Biden is the worst ever and Harris will be worse. He did not outline a well thought out new economic policy, explain why Biden or Harris economic policy is about to cause a recession, or in any way break down any meaningful issue. He never does. He just complains and tries out new insults. To be fair, Harris is not breaking anything down either. And that's at least partially because she doesn't have to. Politics in the Trump era is about insults instead of policy. So the democrats think they can win by putting on a happier face while casting their insults, just being more likeable. Could be right. With Trump agreeing to the debates Harris is going to get her prosecutor moments and Trump is going to show everyone why he is kept off the witness stand.
