2024 Serbia and 2008 Spain are easily 2 of the best teams Team have ever played against.
As the title says, which game do you rate highest?

Spain was great. Jokic is great. Serbia not that great. Croatia and lithuania in 92 could certainly compete with them as bad as they were supposed to be

Do you mean the best competition? Because the US didn't play well. I assume you mean competition.
No, Serbia is not a great team, but Jokic being a GOAT level player can turn a mediocre team like Serbia into a great team.
As for better teams, Spain and Greece were both much better.

06 game had Kobe bailing them out.
Today, there are multiple guys bailing them out, mostly Steph.

No comparison. Today's game easily felt more more nerve wracking since US trailed pretty much the entire way. Numerous times I thought they were going to lose. Making the come back that much sweeter. Bar none the hardest Team USA has ever had to play to win an Olympic game since pros were allowed.
US-Spain never really felt in doubt. It was either close or Team USA had the lead.

I can appreciate that, but how do you feel about Micic and Milutinov and Petrusev?
I mean, they're not world beaters. It's easy to see that without Jokic, they'd be blown out. You almost lost to Jokic, not Serbia.
No shame, Jokic has me convinced. He's in the GOAT discussion now. Too bad he's too chill to do a Decision like Lebron and win some more rings.

This.
The USA-Spain game was close throughout, but they eventually took control in the final minutes. USA was down 11 points with 7 minutes left vs Serbia, down 17 at one point in the first half.

Serbia got blown out by like 25 last time vs Team USA after getting an early lead.
They don't have the star power or talent outside Yolk to be considered a great team.
They were -29 last game with Jokic on the bench.

The 2008 team beat Spain by 40 in the group stages.

2008 Spain would beat this Serbia in a 7 game series, but Serbia was simply hot in this game. Bogdanovic and the other guards simply couldn't miss in this game it seemed, & this wasn't even Jokic's best game, but give him any sort of supporting cast and they are very tough to beat.
