His off-ball, face-up, dribble-drive style of offense would surely get a nice boost in today's NBA. His scoring and creation seem a perfect fit for the faster-paced, three-point spaced, ball screen and hand-off heavy style of play.

You look at players like Giannis Antetokoumpo, Anthony Davis, and Victor Wembanyama and think of the possibilities. Even someone from the '00s like Amar'e Stoudemire or certain aspects of Dwight Howard, although not the off-ball post-up play/sealing. More the aerial finishing elements.

His offensive numbers in the regular season were superb back in his pre-injury prime. Even some of his earlier playoff runs translated well. But as we know, the tougher defenses could stymie his attack and expose his lack of a sturdy traditional low-post game.

But I see a guy like Anthony Davis putting up tremendous playoff numbers over his career. He has genuinely some of the most robust postseason scoring in league history. Out of all the great modern players, Davis is definitely the closest to Robinson in play style.

The most notable rule and rule interpretation changes:

- Removal of Illegal Defense
- Hand-checking reinforcement
- Freedom of movement
- Further loosening of dribbling, carrying, and traveling (zero/gather step) rules

Bill Walton in today's era with all the spacing would benefit his passing greatly.

Pete Maravich and Oscar Robertson are two guys that would have had much more success with more teams and more player options.

Jerry West in a three point era and free agency moves every year. The Logo might have actually surpassed Jordan and Lebron

His game is similar to Giannis when Giannis is in (optimal imo) "big man" mode.

He and Hakeem were clearly the most nimble and able to adjust to modern play with few adjustments. Shaq and Ewing( guys from the same era) were more classic, lumbering types down low( though Ewing had a good jumper). Both Hakeem and D-Rob would be beasts in this era. You could throw Orlando Shaq in there too before he beefed up for the Lakers dynasty in the early 2000s.
