DNC 2024. You can tell a lot about constituents by how civil their conventions are.

RNC conventions are typically civil and a boon to it's host city

DNC conventions, well their history and problems they've caused to it's host city, well let's just say it's not as nice.

A person from another country who knows nothing of Republicans and Democrats, if witnessing the 2 conventions might think Republicans are more unified, nicer and more conscience of those around them. If they witnessed the DNC convention they would probably conclude that Democrats are more divided, angrier, less content and very disrespectful to the people around them.

Will Democrats change our minds on how they are perceived after the 2024 convention? Maybe they'll be much more unified and civil to those business and citizens of their host city this time.

It could be anything but civil. These^ types of people dont mix well with your typical Democrat voter. As I noted in the other thread, it could get ugly.

Businesses didn't have to board their windows up in Milwaukee for the RNC. Same can't be said for Chicago .

I have to admit, it's been remarkably civil so far. They've only broken down one barrier and there's only been a couple of arrests. But it's mainly college kids out there right now, let's wait until darkness falls and the white antifa kids and black youth move in, to see if there'll be some real fireworks.
