I know some of you are gonna be very upset... very upset at me. Because I am making a post about Trump. I know that Trump reads my posts, so I have to do this.

It occurred to me, all Trump needs to do to win the election is be like "Yeah, you know, last election was crazy. I don't regret any of the actions I took to contest the election (even tho some of that shit was wild lool,) but I do regret what happened on January 6th. I did not foresee that happening, but looking back at it, I can see why it did. I apologize to my supporters, I let you down. I cannot promise that I will not challenge the election result, but there will NEVER BE ANOTHER JANUARY 6th!"

Now, I know the chance of him doing that is effectively ZERO. Still, that's that's the main thing that people hold against him. That's how they can truly say he is a threat to democracy. I don't believe he was trying to incite a riot, but he really ****ed up putting himself and other people in that position. He played himself.

Of course, assuming he actually did this, people would want to follow up and press him on it. And he would just say... "I do not want to speak of it any more. To the families of all involved, I am so sorry; it was not my intention, as I am sure it was not theirs, but we cannot go back in time. All I can say is nothing like that will ever happen again!"

That's wrap it up, and it's crazy he won't do that, but I think he feels it opens him up to attack, but it's already an attack. People are gonna shit about it for awhile regardless, but I believe America would forgive him.

I mean, dude got shot. Even if he wins, he only gets 4 more years. It's time to look forward.

I have it on good authority that Trump reads all these threads. How it works is that I send an email to an anonymous recipient notifying said recipient that a new thread has been created on ISH about Trump, and then Trump is notified, and he later logs in under an undisclosed account. The account is even a mystery to me, his most staunch supporter here on this Liberal wasteland of a site.

I appreciate your thoughts and efforts here on prescribing an idea on how to help Trump win the election. But I think we all know how Trump would answer this idea. He would answer it with a resounding disapproval and would come back with an idea of his own. He would probably state that when the Democrats apologize for the riots of 2020 and for the violent rhetoric that gave birth to radical terrorist groups like ANTIFA, and when they apologize for the dangerous rhetoric that has led to the assassination attempt of Steve Scalise, and himself, then maybe just maybe he might consider your suggestion, OP. Once again, it is a good suggestion and you are a good person, OP, but this is Mr. Trump we are talking about. He does not bow down to the Democrat Nazi Machine.

Pretty much everyone agrees with me, though, right? He might have missed his chance, but after he got shot, that would have been a great time to act like he was reflecting. He could have worded it in a way that didn't seem weak. The key would be to not go into too much detail but just say that things got out of hand and he as the leader takes responsibility for it.

That would actually be the alpha move. He might think he would have to go into more detail and answer questions, but he could just say, "I already spoke on it. I don't wanna think about that day anymore. Time to move forward!"

That's the thing that Trump needs. Said this in another thread. Trump needs a VP running mate that can attract the moderate conservatives. The, as you say, white collars in the US.

Apologizing about 6th january won't do anything for or against Trumps. Nothing Trump himself does will do anything. The voters have seen him to his fullest extent.
