we all know Goku would win in just his base form, but what if we evened out the playing field...say Super Saiyan one vs Superman Prime.

I remember reading about superman turning 4000 years old and literally becoming a god. He was able to bring back Lois Lane from the dead and make her a god as well, but any other version of superman gets stomped. Vegeta before he came to earth was able to effortlessly destroy planets in a single blast and super saiyan goku is many times stronger.

Superman and the Kryptonian race were the inspiration for Goku and the Saiyans if I'm not mistaken.

Comic book superman wins easily but live action/animated superman gets obliterated so it really depends on what version of Superman we're talking about
