When you're forced to do things other than the path of least resistance, you become better.

But, if you practice your dunks, it can improve your footwork and gives you more body control. I used to practice Jordan dunks back in the day, and I want to get this Vince Carter reverse 360 footwork down.

But it's the same concept, when you force yourself to do these difficult jumps, you become better than if you just jumped off one foot every single time.

Keep on working at it. One day your Vince Carter 360 windmill dunk will be almost as good as mine.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar also said the same. Apparently, it encouraged him to develop the "sky hook". And David Thompson said that he became a better shooter because of the rule, too.

Mines is better because I can palm the ball.

I don't think any current players are good dunkers, maybe except Ant, so it's a moot point.

Current NBA players are only good at dribbling on the spot and step back push shots.
