Honestly I don't feel good about that. Trump is more unlikable than Bush but Trump never did anything as bad as starting a war based on faulty information. If it pulls away a few Republicans then that's nice but anything Cheney supports is suspect.

He was legitimately the most unpopular president in modern history by the time he left office, culminating in the Republicans getting slaughtered in the '08 election.

Trump's seemingly had his biggest beefs in the Republican party with it's previous nominees; Romney, McCain, both Bushes.

It's definitely Trump vs the world, and as I have said much, I still don't think people understand why people are supporting the opposition to the 'machine.' Each of these endorsements makes it more clear. Not saying Trump is gonna be completely able to do what he wants, but he's definitely less able to be corrupted than the people they are putting up.

It's very odd, Bush Jr was by far the worst president of my lifetime and Cheney was one of the guys pushing for the Iraq war. All this tells me is that people have memories of a goldfish and it shows how much the democratic party has changed. I can't understand how Democrats from 2008 still consider themselves Democrats now.

Fair enough, and that’s America. But whoever wins, it’s not ok to be bitter at people for voting the way they did. That is the true ‘end of our democracy’ when we start to do that.

Shit is crazy atm. Hearty debate then we see what happens and reassess in 4 years. Saying I told you so is fair, but the whole ‘yall bad people’ thing, obviously on either side, is bad.
