His answer would be "tariffs". But almost all economists say that tariffs would hurt the middle class more than help.

tax cuts. No tax on SS, tips, overtime. That'd be big for people, I think.

$6000 to new parents is pretty huge I think.
$50,000 tax break to new business start ups is also huge.
Aside from all of that, our economy is currently headed in the correct direction right now under Biden and her. Interest rates just started lowering, and the housing market should get going again as rates continue to drop.

Trump ain’t wiping out income taxes, abolishing the IRS, nationalizing the FED, or ridding us of the 14th amendment. So please dont be like like THEM and hang on these useless partisan nails.

No the BS republican line of promising “tax cuts” but not actually eliminating income taxes or the IRS is not good. It’s the standard talking point that has led to being duped and ripped off for years on end.

No medicare for all, no free college for all, UBI will not be entertained, no mass transit infrastructure program, etc etc.

Biden and her have already cancelled $160 Billion in student debt. They are both trying to pass broad forgiveness now and it is pending with the Supreme Court. If it doesn't pass while Biden is POTUS she would still be there to sign off on it, which is more than Trump would do.

This is all ***** shit. Just like Trumps “tax cuts” are ***** shit.
If she had balls, her program would be complete debt forgiveness, and free community college available to everyone.

Biden and her can not pass those things alone themselves because it requires a ton of funding, they have already had proposals shot down by the Supreme Court. They try to get what they can.

If you have a job where you collect tips there is a solid chance you're not middle class. In not more sure about it because I haven't researched numbers but waiters, delivery drivers, valets, movers etc. are generally blue collar. It would help people with those kinds of jobs but if they are ripped in cash they don't report it anyway. I suspect the real goals of this are just a basic campaign promise and if it passes it will be used by CEOs as another way to avoid taxes. That's a very abusable loophole and what's to stop a company from paying someone 10 mil and calling it a "tip?"
In fairness the stuff Harris is talking about has a highly questionable effect on budget. Campaign promises generally don't stand up to scrutiny if you think of them as plans. Both campaign's know their candidate is offering free candy so don't expect a real economic debate.

Yea I have a prob twisted view of what middle class is, but I could see two people receiving tips creating a middle class household. To me mc is when you can support yourself without any govt assistance. Then there is american dream middle class which is like my cousin. Make enough money to have what you want but have to work hard. They wouldn’t be affected by any of the three policies, or tbh Kamalas, but they are ok as it is.
I think they need to bridge the gap between low middle class and american dream. If you aren’t envious and it’s hard to see why you’d not be ok with a 200k~ household income, adjusted for cost of living.
80k or whatever two hard working waiters would make (not at chilis lol) is far from that, but there needs to be a way. If they get overtime working right, people could potentially add a large percentage, taxless, to their income.
That really seems like a good way to bridge hourly v salary.

lmao. I’ll look later, it was from the most recent donald trump assassination attempt thread. All the liberals tried to derail the thread and turn it into a funny event by listing off their take out food order of the night. RMWG of course couldn’t help but to participate and talked about ordering orange chicken and “teriyaki sticks” from his local chinese restaurant. It was very cringe to say the least. I’ll look for it later but yeah, RMWG ordered orange chicken and teriyaki from chinese places….dude is a low class mental midget.

Sounds about right. I would say ordering orange chicken and teriyaki sticks are not only two of the worst things to order in a Chinese restaurant, but it's also not so low-key racist. When going to an ethnic restaurant, it goes without saying you HAVE to order their actual country's food. Not some white version of it. Come to think of it, ordering the white version of their food is actually a form of white supremacy. It's like ordering some sort of teriyaki bento box at a sushi place. It's breaking the unwritten rules in favor of racism.

Oh man. So funny, It’s sad because low iq guys like RMWG….this is like speaking chinese to them. They don’t even get it. It’s so bizarre. They have abnormally low iq or brain damage or little bit of both. I cannot explain it for the life of me. Wow.
I don’t even know what to do with them at this point. May God help them. (And get over their TDS)

Tax cuts have a nice ring to them, but it's the only measure US politicians take to "help" the working population without sounding communist.
The problem is that more disposable income without market regulation won't do anything positive. It will flood the market and create more inflation just like the handouts under Biden.
Market regulation is the magic phrade. You have to raise the purchasing power, but you can't if you give "customers" more money, but don't prohibit "salers" from raising their prices alongside that.
