KAT's numbers in 9 seasons at Timberwolves
Regular season averages: 22.9 PTS, 10.8 TRB, 3.2 AST, 0.8 STL & 1.2 BLK on 52.4/39.8/83.9 (62.3 TS%)
Playoffs averages: 18.8 PTS, 10.2 TRB, 2.4 AST, 0.7 STL & 0.8 BLK on 46.8/35.0/82.4 (58.3 TS%)
After almost a decade playing for Timberwolves, KAT was suddenly traded away to Knicks out of nowhere.).
How will you rememeber KAT's legacy at Timberwolves whenever his career is mentioned?

"Legacy" is being used too liberally.

His “legacy” will be of slight disappointment.
Coming out of college and in his first couple years he was one of the most skilled bigs you’ve ever seen. He just never grew a pair or improved. 21-year-old KAT legit was probably better than he is now.
He’s a weird case but overall…good player but not a real guy you want if you’re winning a championship probably.

I would say KAT had a higher upside than Bosh.
With the right mentality and mentorship, this could have been more of a Pau Gasol situation, but as of now, KAT is one of the bigger dissapointments.

He played with Kevin Garnett. It's not about other people.

If he wins in New York...he'll be the fifth/sixth top guy that left to win (KG, Billups, Love, Butler, Wiggins) and the Wolves become the Northern Clippers.

This is a borderline incoherent post.

Chauncy Billups left the Wolves in 02 - won a title in 04
Kevin Garnett left the Wolves in 07 - won a title in 08
Kevin Love left the Wolves in 14 won a title in 16
Jimmy Butler left the Wolves in 2018 made the finals in 2020
Andrew Wiggins left the Wolves in 2020 won a title in 2022
This organization has consistently failed to field a title team in 20+, so why should KAT be held accountable for the failures of this franchise? The organization's culture matters having your franchise players leave in their prime and win somewhere else is a black mark on your franchise. We shouldn't blame KAT if he doesn't elevate the Wolves...if you can't manage the resources that's not on the player it certainly isn't when you have the track record the Wolves have had.
Huh? Butler won a chip before? :biggums:

Did I say he won a chip or that he made the finals?

He never really expanded his game. Just a coordinated big who is an elite shooter. He's like the maxed out version of the Brian Scalabrine soft shooting big archetype.

I did not compare him to bosh idiot. I said his legacy is similar to that of bos in toronto

I think you had to consider what the expectations are when discussing legacy. KAT had more of that than Bosh and not hitting those is unfortunately a mark on him.

That's what I mean, KAT is more skilled than Bosh, by quite a lot. If KAT had just tried to be an average defender.

No I don't. The point is he is forgotten, like bosh.
