based on stats, dominance, ball movement (not ball-dominance), chemistry, fits, teammate elevation, strategic capacity/coaching, winning with less, and producing better chemistry/brand and therefore better TEAMS

Other fundamental bigs that produce great ball movement and chemistry are also better than lebron, such as Russell, Duncan, Kareem, Shaq, Wilt, and maybe even Hakeem.. And obviously expert jumpshooters that produce the best ball movement/chemistry are also better such as MJ, Kobe, Curry and Bird.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of fundamentals and/or elite jumpshooting (capacity for ball movement), Lebron is actually a Giannis-level player - still quite good, but not goat-level and can never win at a goat frequency or dominance level/Finals record.

Although let's be fair, if Lebron ever gave up as big of a lead as the Nuggets did at home in a game 7 it would be brought up all the time in regards to his GOAT case.

It was one of the biggest game 7 collapses ever and it was Peak Jokic.

Jokic faced the same situation of running out of gas due to no help that Jordan faced in the 89' ECF, or Lebron faced in the 15' Finals - still not as bad as a goat choke with a super-team like 2011, or 35% and 6 TO's like the 07' Finals or 08' ECF.. Zero help will usually lead to running out of gas at some point.. MJ learned to fight through this and still win, but most cannot for more than a one-off, and otherwise need franchise players and elite producers at sidekick and even 3rd option.

True, and rather obvious.

Lebron clearly has him beat in athleticism....but in basketball skill, Jokic is head and shoulders above. Just like Larry Bird.

Yeah, there's no denying that it was pretty big choke job by both Jokic and Murray. Lebronesque in fact.
