….have to dunk a tennis ball and hang on the rim after.
You each have 18 months to prepare.
He tells you his peak is 136 in a row But he’s gonna work on a routine and try it for you.
You get to do whatever workouts you feel are best for 18 months of prep. You are allowed to put anything in your body and there will be no drug tests.
The day of reckoning is 18 months from today. Not talking about in your prime. 18 months from right now.
Do you expect to go with him or yourself when the guns come out?
You kinda have to prepare yourself either way right? Or are you so sure you fail you just put all your hopes on Chef?
Which of you cowards doesn’t even begin working out for it?

Dunk. Still young enough where I'm pretty sure I could make that happen with 18 months of training.

I'm 6 feet but I have no hops. I'll let Curry do it but when it comes to charity, that man is the devil. I would be screwed either way.

Im not ever taking the 200 3s option cmon now
If it was 50 Id think about it, but even then.. if its 10-15 Id take Curry.
Other than that, let me decide my destiny.

Dunking easily. I used to be able to. With a tennis ball and some time of training, that's a piece of cake.

My right ankle is ****ed up now so no amount of preparation would help. I used to be able to dunk when I was a teenager and weighed only 160 lbs. No chance today. I'd have to rely on Curry, but most likely be executed I guess.

I wouldn't even take this if Curry had to make 50 in a row, 200? I'm taking my chances dunking :lol

The biggest caveat here's hanging on the rim. That means you just can't be able to dunk, you have to clear like at least 6 inches above the rim to brace yourself for the hang. A barely scraping the rim dunk won't work.

Ankle surgery, a six month recovery, then a full year of the cream, the clear, the translucent, trips to wherever in Germany Kobe and Lance Armstrong were going for vials of spun blood cells, an uncut extract of Dwyane Wades jaw, and a subscription to biogenesis in Savannah James name combined with and aggressive And-One era style jump soles program

and Barkley/Steve Francis/Drexler style drills jumping back and forth over fences….
You couldn’t get a 24 inch vertical?
That’s about all it would take for a tennis ball with you being above average height. I think we we are both about the same 6 foot two that 70% of Internet males lie about being.
I think you could do it.

Id dunk that tennis ball right now with 0 training. I need to train to dunk a real ball just once before i get too old because my 6'1 215 lb ass has been close a few times but ive never done it.

No one in their right mind is picking Curry for this. The odds of anyone, including Steph, making 200 threes straight is .......basically zero.

It's inconsistent, but I can still nip the rim with a finger on a good jump at 37. 18 months of shedding some lbs and hyperfocusing on hip thrusts, deadlifts, squats, and plyo and busting out some savings for steroid cycles and I don't see how I wouldn't be able to dunk a tennis ball.

Or you have real strong hands.
You're going to be doing mad deadlifts for this anyway, so your grip strength will be there.

I can’t find the original video I took that intro footage from, but I remember it was his warm-up and he made 102 of them just ****ing around before his actual workout.
Of course it’s gonna be a longshot to do 200 on command, but the human body is definitely capable of that level of skill and repetition.
Some of the short kings might have no choice. That said Muggsy Bogues was in fact able to dunk a tennis ball, but he probably had a 40 inch vertical so….thats him.
Edit:
having looked into it Mugsy dunked at least twice. A put back dunk in college and a dunk in high school. He says he was able to dunk pretty easily at that age but not well enough to risk it in an NBA game when he got older. Says he could get rim in even the nba though.
there is no footage of it, but at his height and standing reach, he would need a 36 inch vertical to touch the rim and that isn’t shocking for an explosive little athlete like him.

The odds are still going to be something like .00001%. Just my opinion, but I think you'd be crazy to put your life on that kind of probability.

I'm not putting my life in somebody else's hands
I'm 6'1 with a above average vertical so I'll be fine dunking

Well I definitely wouldn’t. I’m just saying people have hit 200 threes. And they weren’t even Steph Curry.
I did enjoy the old dudes form though. Kinda had a low wear and tear push shot like Curry.

LOL - I'm in my right mind, but only 5'3". Steph has a chance - I have zilch.

I think you could do it.Considering you have an 8 foot standing reach, that's how much you would need to simply touch the rim. You need to get an additional ~4 inches to grab it to the point where you can hold on, along with other various externalities such as not being able to sleep because you're so nervous and not all jumps being the same despite coming from the same person. You're going to need 30-32 inches just to be safe imo.

I'm in my 40s can still touch the rim .Ile go with me. With a good workout regimen I can do it...I hope

I wonder how much an average person can jump with intensive leg training and extreme weight loss. 18 months are definitely enough for this.
