I think despite a lot of resistance from his party Obama was pretty concerned about immigration. Obviously lots of immigrants hurts African Americans the most of any ethnic group. But Obama cared about black people, or at least pretended to care. Kammy could give 2 sh*t's about the black community. This "border" bill had more than half of it going to the Ukraine and less than half going to the border, and it wasn't strong enough anyways. But these bills are usually loaded with other spending to frivolous things like more money to foreign nations and money towards studies like Lesbian Dance studies.
