This kid just dropped a 17 piece on the GS starters in like 20 minutes of play.
He started the preseason deferring to teammates so they could find their rhythm and build some confidence, but we know he's a walking bucket when he wants to be aggressive.
Theyre gonna need his offense and his defense in a stacked Western Conference. Not sure they can afford to coddle the egos of the incumbent starters for an extended period of time. Bronny's gotta get those minutes sooner than later.

Player News. James scored 17 points (7-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds, three steals, an assist and a block in 35 minutes during Friday's 132-74 preseason loss to the Warriors.

I think he gets sent to the G-League. A few NBA players had it happen to them and they became really good from it. Siakim and VanVleet to name two of them. Maybe he'll play a little bit and get on the floor with his father so they can solidify that moment, but I think if he wants to progress and become better he needs reps. So G-League it is.

I think they should go ahead and double down on the farce and start him tonight on opening night against Golden State. That would give them the photo op of the opening tipoff with father and son together at the jump ball. After the game, they can wax poetically about what an historical moment it was since it has never been done before.
What's the over/under that he gets Mozgov'd by Xmas?

Bronny garnering a lot of betting action for ROY
"The surprising betting interest on Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James that began before the NBA draft has continued into the regular season, even surpassing the action on his legendary father.
More bets have been placed on James to win the NBA's Rookie of the Year than any other player at multiple major U.S. sportsbooks.
FanDuel reported Tuesday that 20% of the money that had been bet on its odds to win Rookie of the Year was on James, the most of any player. James' odds to win the award range from 250-1 to as long as 1,000-1 at sportsbooks.
Grizzlies center Zach Edey enters the season as the consensus betting favorite to win Rookie of the Year, ahead of Houston Rockets guard Reed Sheppard. James has attracted more Rookie of the Year bets than Edey and Sheppard combined at FanDuel.
James also was a popular pick with bettors to be the top pick in June's draft, but he eventually was taken in the second round by the Lakers, where he'll suit up alongside his father, LeBron James. At sportsbook BetMGM, there were seven times more bets on Bronny to win Rookie of the Year than there were on LeBron to win MVP.

Who would bet on BJJ for rookie of the year, when his own rookie teammate Knecht has played circles around him in every game?
But then again, the fix might be in. They did give his pops olympic MVP, and we all know what a farce that was.

Dog for some reason I think Bronny is going to have one of the, if not the most embarrassing “NBA Career” of all time. And he has only his father and the “guilty of rampant nepotism themselves” media to blame.
Can’t wait to see how well our resident method actor extradinaire cleans up on such a debacle.
Pace yourself.
I’m here in your corner with the puke bucket.
