I know you would come across as very scripted doing this, but I genuinely want to know why candidates would spend time in any state outside of the 7 that will decide this election. You could argue it's good optics for Trump to visit a state he has zero chance of winning, but you wonder if strategically it's a mistake spending time in New York, esp with only 2 weeks until the election.
