No Embiid, George, or Leonard across the two games.

So what’s on the agenda?

Magic/Heat

Pelicans/Bulls

Grizzlies/Jazz?

Cavs/Raptors?

The league intentionally avoids compelling matchups that would compete with the showcase games so they are pretty much ****ing us on purpose.

Opening week already lost its steam. Wemby doesn’t play till tomorrow.

I Guess I’ll do Bulls/Pelicans to see how Zion and Lonzo look. But I’m not going outta my way. I’ll just get home when I get home and find it in league pass.

I pay for it but I assume it’s free week one like always.

I'm still intrigued by Suns/Clips for the Suns side of things. Curious to see how they look with a real floor general out there. Plumlee may fit nicely with that group, too.

Magic/Heat. Orlando is a solid playoff team so should be a good measuring stick for a Heat team that I don;t think was ever able to play at full strength.

PG Rozier
SG Herro
SF Butler
PF or C Adebato
C or PF ?

Could be a good team. Could also be a bunch of injuries but whatever. That's who I'd pick, after them watch Memphis who could also be dangerous to the West.

I actually wouldn’t mind some Morant/Edey content. Question is will I watch the Jazz to get it.

That game should have been against the spurs.

Oh shit. Today is Wednesday. I'm a bit out of sorts apparently.

I blame the intense emotional roller coaster of the James Fam making history last night.

Curry is still a superstar but the overall team doesn't have high expectations. Not saying I agree but that could be the thinking.

I think it will be highly dependent on Kuminga taking the next step. Heild needs to keep doing what he's done the last 3-4 seasons. He's #2 in 3PM in the NBA during that timespan only behind Curry amazingly enough. Wiggins also needs a bounce-back hear. Last year he struggled compared to before that. He's still only 29.

They could make the playoffs or at least play in but they aren't a serious contender without another superstar. Odd the top of my head I don't see them beating OKC or Denver and there's a number of other teams in sure that would beat them.

Also interested in Houston. They could be sneaky good for three reasons: depth, Sengun, and Sheppard. I'm intrigued by Reed but more so interested to see if Sengun takes another leap forward. He's got his first big contract now. Will he prove he's worth it?

Simple. The warriors aren't the same dynasty team they once were anymore.

An interesting young team to watch in the next few years.

You really are either one of the worst trolls or biggest idiots I’ve ever seen when you talk about that guy. I assume it’s just bad trolling because I don’t generally think of you as stupid. You’re way too emotionally invested into that man if your perspective is warped enough to believe shit like that.I keep thinking it must be trolling. But you keep saying it. In such a serious way. I don’t know.

The NBA wants to move on from Curry and hook viewers on younger stars. Curry not being Nike's "Chosen One" they don't treat him like the LeSser player either. Nike doesn't want Curry to be acknowledged as the greatest player of this era and be viewed as a legit challenger to Jordan which Curry actually is. That would be a disaster for Nike. That's why in a preseason game the Warriors thrashed the Lakers winning by 58 points the story put out is about Bronny scoring his highest yet. (Huh?) That's why the Warriors vs. Trail Blazers game last night instead of being featured wasn't advertised and easy to miss. Is it because no one is interested in the Warriors anymore? Nope. Just look at the NBA feed on Youtube and see that the Warriors vs. Trail Blazers game is the most viewed.

It's actually eye-opening how the media blatantly manipulates stories contrary to logical expectation when you notice and really try to understand what is going on. The propaganda from vested interests is ubiquitous.

Could be that. Or that Suns/Clippers had way more star power and didn't feature the worst team in the league..

I saw a Morey comment that George will play few or zero back to backs this season as well. They’re basically gonna throw 15 games while pretending to care about winning.

Some of those games are national tv too. Vs Dallas on ABC and one on tnt. There are some back to backs that are both national games. They aren’t gonna play vs the Thunder. A couple knick games are on a back to back and nationally televised.

I assume the league is going to tell them to sit them out the first half of a back to back so they can be available for the big games but Philly probably doesn’t give a ****.

It will be hard to see this team flourish if their key players keep getting on sidelined from time to time.
