Seriously, the NBA fan base is so damn casual and stupid. The Bronny shit is the most forced thing Ive ever seen in the NBA and everyone deludes themselves into thinking it's "legit history" when its manufactured.

I was saying when Bronny was a senior in high school that it was clear he was not an NBA talent AND he was shorter than what people tried to claim (6'4). The guy is 6'1 on a good day with no NBA handles, no NBA shooting, and no NBA aggressiveness.

Dude's ceiling was a 4 year college player and then MAYBE playing oversees. Even in the Wolves game, he missed both shots, so it's hilarious seeing people claim he and Lebron are the highest scoring father/son combo in nba history when Bronny technically hasn't even scored.

The hype around Bronny being a good NBA player is pretty much gone, but once he's terrible even in the G-league, the hype around him being in the NBA at all will be gone.

Lebron is my guy, but wow this shit is clearly a BUSINESS move from the Lakers to keep Lebron happy. It's aint "history".

OP is the first person to realize Bronny isn't a legitimate NBA player and is there solely due to nepotism.

This kind of feels like the thread he made about Jokic when he enlightened us all on the fact that he's a HOF talent in May 2023.

OP is basketballs version of Nostradamus.

As a player he sucks. But his popularity seems to be rising due to his father.

We'll see. I couldn't be bothered to watch him until now I'm not really a fan of prep ball. Seeing a glimpse of nba action hes a pesky defender, in small doses at least. And i don't think his handle is strong enough to handle nba ball pressure as far as bringing the ball up court and to be honest more nba players than not suffer the same lol. He ironically looks like a great compliment to his father's game once he can consistently stick jumpers. He won't playmake or run any team he's on probably not even at the g league level. His ceiling to me is a Pat Bev-ish player.

The disrespect here to Pat Bev is wild.
Pat grew up in the Austin neighborhood in Chicago.
Led the city in murder rate in 03 & 06.
Bronny grew up in gated spoiled luxury.
They could never be the same in any way.

Lakers are waiting until after the game in Cleveland coming up to send him to the G League.

I guess they're going to gift him some playing time again in that game.

Someone on here said it - it's basically Make-A-Wish for someone who's not dying.

I don't think it's what you meant....but it reads like you're saying Pat Bev led the city of Chicago in murder.

Disrespect? Lol. I'm saying a kid that's played 3 minutes and maybe will spend most of his season in the g league can best case scenario be similar to Pat Bev. A role player who spent his career barely making it for a bulk of it as a guy you could run at the 1 next to high usage weapons. Not that he's anywhere close to being anything at this point. I can't for the life of me understand all the emotion directed at a kid that hasn't done anything to anyone and is just trying to hoop lol. Come back and be upset when he makes the playoff roster and hasn't made a single stride in the season. Otherwise let a kid trying to make the league try,.

No, Junior would not be in the NBA if not for his dad. Yes, everyone knows this. No, the general media will not report the facts in such a blunt fashion because their overall station (ESPN, TNT) wants to maintain a good relationship with his father. It's not fair but a lot of things aren't fair. It would be nice if we could all accept that and move along.

A division 2 talent currently has generated more discussion than last season's 4 conference finalists combined. Do we really need to beat this topic so badly to death?

You have bad memory. I was saying Jokic was a 7 foot Larry Bird back in 2020, and my recent 2023 claim was me saying he was going to be GOAT-level, not HOF level (huge difference). My claim was specifically saying he would go back-to-back FMVP but unfortunately Jamal Murray was injured in the playoffs last year. In fact, since the 2020-2021 season, Jokic's 2nd and 3rd options have ROUTINELY been unhealthy so Jokic's peak has not achieved the "Greatness" (i.e. winning) that it could.

Did you even read my OP? I clearly stated I knew Bronny wasn't NBA caliber by his senior year in HS...2 years ago.

 I read it that way too. I'm imagining the Sportscenter segment on a top new homicide prospect out of Chicago.

I like Pat but to be honest he seems like he tries a little too hard to be hood. Now that I know he's the leader in murders I got more respect though
