I could end up with egg on my face by him missing the next game or a picture on the sideline in street clothes that I just missed but Jaylen Brown missed today's game vs the Charlotte Hornets. It was the second part of a back-to-back with the same opponent in Charlotte. The exact injury listed, which he showed no sign of or asked out at any time yesterday over, is "hip flexor strain."
Completely coincidentally... the Celtics play in JB's hometown, Atlanta, on Monday. I feel confident that he's already there doing whatever it is he wants/needs to do.
So I wondering if they would do something like this the Celtics were facing Cleveland or OKC tonight. I doubt it.
