....on 56% shooting.....
And the Bucks still lose. No depth whatsoever.

Feels like Bobby Portis would step up more with Middleton out but some people just aren’t built for it.

I said it in the off-season that their role players are nowhere near as good as they were 2-3 years ago. Doesn't help that Middleton is always injured and most likley will never return to his 2021 & 2022 form.
It's also mind blowing how much their defense has regressed since they swapped Holiday for Lillard. You would expect them to still be at least decent on that end with having Giannis & Lopez.

Losing Holiday was an epic mistake. Dude is criminally underrated.

Dame Dollar needs to be removed from the top 75 list. He's done Jack since being selected.

OP is corrrect.
Bucks looked good , but Lopez got out scored by a 6'9" center, and slow to jump for blocks and weak side.
Portis all most looked lost...
Gary Trent - non-issue.
I just wonder if they should start Green At SG and rotate him with Trent of bench.
We need defensive stops on the perimeter.
Over all Bucks played pretty good.
Maybe the corner is turning.
If at the 10 game mark no improvement - Ham has to take over.

It's not just Holiday. IMO the bigger loss was Lopez's age finally catching up with him. He was a DOPTY candidate just a few seasons back. But him losing it and losing Jrue crushed their defense. Add in Dame that's a pylon defensively, and you see what happens.

I think he will probably go down as the Kevin Johnson of his era.
Not in terms of play style, but both very popular among fans and peers during their playing days, but somewhat of an after thought post play career.

He's old, he's declined.

It was a typical "prisoner of the moment" selection, IMO. He was never Top 75 when list went out (he had just been in the league for 9 years and never made the finals, never won any major accolades.) Since then that decisions looks worse and worse.
To give you guys an example, if the list went out in 2004 Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter would surely be in it. That is how I explain his inclusion.

Timing was a big factor...guys from the 80's got screwed with the 90's list, guys from the 00's got screwed with the 20's list.
I don't think Dame was worse than say Davis or Westbrook but all three could have and likely should have been omitted.
The good news is I guess J'rue Holiday's HOF case is getting stronger and stronger and that's a victory for team/glue guys.

There's still no explanation for Dwight Howard not being on it.

AD is not there, far better player than Kyrie.

Dame gets too much of a bum rap for this. Even if you disagree with his selection, he's still more deserving than many of the older players who would have never made the 75th team if they were starting from scratch like Earl Monroe, Pete Maravich, Dave Bing, Lenny Wilkins.

AD actually did make it, but arguing Kyrie should've made it over Dwight or even McGrady is comical.

Kyrie is literally a worse version of Lillard if we’re talking about their primes. Manny at it again.

Their playstyles are nothing alike, Kyrie plays defense Lillard is a top 5 worst defender I have ever witnessed
Kyrie is proven playoff performer, Lillard is a proven choker

Kyrie is a miserably bad defender and has embarrassed himself every single playoffs he wasn’t being carried by someone twice as good as him.
Poor manny :(

He was literally the Mavs defensive player in the playoffs this year, I know you don't like Kyrie personally but Lillard makes Kyrie look like Prime Scottie Pippen defensively

Small guards are never their teams best defender let alone Kyrie

Manny said Tmac was an awful defender but Kyrie is somehow serviceable on that end. He has no idea what he's talking about as usual

In the playoffs he was, he set the tone defensively game after game with his effort and hustle, shut down Harden, Shai & Edwards

Kyrie Irving is capable of respectable defense when he wants to but I wouldn't go much further than that.
Dame Lillaird for Terry Rozier and Tyler Herro. Who says no?

They weren't removing anyone from the original 50 but Dame over Dwight, McGrady, VC, English or the likes was a head scratcher.
