My girlfriend bought several outfits from Scheels(something like that) in a mall, I think was in Chandler outside Phoenix when I was there a while back. The kind of skimpy, colorful shit you would generally wear at the beach or somewhere like Phoenix when it’s 116°. I don’t generally have comfortable clothes like that because I stay kind of put together even when I’m being casual, but I may let her get me some Gucci slides for when I’m in places that are unspeakably hot.

I said all that to say….Phoenix was ok. Worse than San Diego. Better(and somehow cooler) than Palm Springs and a couple other places I was at out there. I’d take it over Vegas.

Probably a solid All Star city. I always like when they go somewhere miserable and cold just to hear the resulting complaints.

Did they do it in Cleveland recently? Or maybe it was Indianapolis? And then the dead of winter? I just remember somebody on a podcast I listen to really really really hating the NBA for causing him to go there for a weekend. Phoenix won’t have that issue at least.

yeah this summer was unbearable hot...we had 113 straight days of 100F+ temps. that's 3.5 months of never cooling down. even at nights it's scorching. got me thinking about living somewhere cooler during the summer. idk if i want to another summer like that.

It was like 110 when I was in Vegas, then 125 in Palm Springs and then 115 in Phoenix. I had a moment of eye contact with a guy in Palm Springs as we both entered the hotel and got visibly relieved and I had to ask him how they did it out there. He told me he was from Long Beach and it doesn’t get hot in LA he didn’t get it either.

The day it was over 125 in Palm Springs I was moving stuff from the rental car back to mine and just the time standing between the two my head started to pound from the heat. Those people were just walking around like lizards who needed to soak up the heat to raise their metabolism.

I'm sure KD will be on another team by then.
