And yet he might not even be a top 20 player. Has this ever happened before? Usually the best highlight players are top 5-10 players in the league. Ja literally has a jaw dropping highlight every game, and in the game tonight alone, he did TWO absurd 360 degree layups.

I can't help but think that Ja would be regarded much higher if he played 20 years ago. The NBA talent is just so ridiculous now.

Trump will create more highlights tomorrow than Morant in his whole life

Well he was a top 10 player a couple or so years ago. It's not like talent increase that much in a couple years.

When he's healthy, he's easily a top 20 player.

Highlights = high probability of getting injured.

And with Ja, if given the choice between a poster and a win, he’ll take the poster.

He's actually attempted one dunk so far this year.

lol @ your comment. Jason Williams, Jason Richardson, Gerald Green, Stromile Swift. Guys that just came to mind. There are more. Players that were never all-stars yet were in weekly top 10 with regularity.

He's definitely a top 20 guy on impact. He's better than Trae Young due to defense alone.

He was at least top 15 two years ago. His stock has dropped between injuries and the off-court stuff, so he's just re-establishing himself.
