I Kid has them going the long lead pass on the break. One of the commentators mentioned he was stressing it, and it reminded me of how a lot of the old teams played. Birds Celtics and the showtime Lakers were like that. A few turnovers have resulted, but if you get the whole team buying in, it works itself out long-term with the easy baskets.

KD has been excellent, has not had a bad game at all. He's been carrying the team this season bc Booker still hasn't found his game.

Bud has these guys shooting a ton of 3s and moving the ball very well, defensively, they've improved as well.

When the suns originally put together I thought they were getting badly overrated. I didn't think they had the role players needed to make a deep run.

Now I think they are being underrated. They've made some good roster moves under the radar

KD is a good shot blocker, he timed it well and stayed on kyrie and has more than enough lenght and somehow kyrie hanged in the air...still made it over a 7 footer sheesh

Now I think they are being underrated. They've made some good roster moves under the radar

no he didn't. doris even asked to replay it to see if nurk fouled gafford and there was no shove. nurkic brings his elbow which looks to slightly graze gaffords head, and by slightly i mean it took gafford a full second to flop to that contact and make it look like he got shoved...but not a foul

Just got done watching. Well played game. That last foul might have been on Kyrie. The really bad call was earlier in the 4th against Powell. They said he pulled the guy down when he was just backing up with his hands up.

Dallas shot themselves in the foot with some bad shot selection late. Nurkic actually stole the ball from Kyrie inside :lol

^Suns got Nurk because he is one of the few offensively gifted centers that Jokic CANNOT MOVE AT ALL IN THE POST. Nurk, Adams and Valunciunas move Jokic OUT, make him into a sloppy Dirk.

i'm not saying he doesn't contribute on offense, he does and when he does it well they look like the best team in the league. what i'm saying is he's a redundancy on this team. we have 3 pretty good to great scorers as it is, and a couple of great shooters that offer a lot of spacing, so really what nurkic brings overlaps with what is already being provided. on another team without as much offensive talent, he'd shine. but this team would benefit SO MUCH from having a good defender. plumlee has outshined nurkic this season with his defense alone, but he can only play limited minutes unfortunately. imagine someone like gafford on this team...sheesh, they'd be #1 seed. all we need from a center is the ability to catch some lobs and defend the paint.

and for every good game he has, he seems to have bad games like last night where he dropped a whopping 0 points on 0-4 fg and 0-3 3pt shots. when his offense isn't going, he's a big detriment to the team.

Yep. I said in August that I felt they had the league's best off-season. Especially considering that they had no cap space.
