The Bucks are currently doing well against the Celtics so maybe this is the exact wrong time to start a thread like this but why have the Bucks been so disappointing this season?

Haven't watched the games but Damian Lillard is one of the most overrated players in NBA history and Doc Rivers is their coach.

I don't care who wins this game. Imagine giving up Jrue Holiday for Damian Lillard.

This is why front offices should hardly ever listen to their star players. Most of the players don't know jack shit.

The brought back the exact same roster that's older now with the exact same overrated coach that didn't do well after he got hired. They fired Adrian Griffin after a 30-13 start last season. That's insane to me in the middle of a season. Giannis is the one complaining now that they don't have an identity when he's the one that wanted Rivers in there. :oldlol:

They were up 17 today at home and still blew it. Not good stuff.

Giannis looked like he was attending a funeral at the end of the game. Bucks
@Rudeboy
Doc is trying to turn them into a lottery team.

How long before they fire Doc?
I mean, they kind of have to right?

Hopefully they don't wait as long as they did last year with Adrian Griffin. 43 games into the season at 30-13. Surely the Bucks fire Rivers sooner than that with a worse record right? :oldlol:

Sure but that GM should be booted with him. If you're about to have your 4th coach in 2 years you shouldn't let the same guy pick him.

Everyone's saying this now, but I dont remember too many people panning the trade at the time.
Maybe you were one of the very few, but it was pretty rare. Particularly before Holiday wound up in Boston. Then a few more people felt it might haunt the Bucks.
But the initial trade for Lillard was pretty widely acclaimed.

I felt the Bucks needed a change, but at the time I didn't think it was the right choice. Part of the Bucks identity (which Giannis wants so badly right now) was defense. They lost that in this trade.

They have 3 winnable games coming up, how many do they lose?
Raptors, Pistons, Bulls.

I think they go 2-1 and lose against the Pistons on the end of the back-to-back.

I was more humble here, but I always felt the same way.
Lillard is a bum in comparison to the hype that he gets. Jrue Holiday is an ideal player for winning basketball. Top 75 all time? lol.

Look how the warriors went from a play-in team to winning a ring with a washed klay in 2022.... He is the Klay Thompson of this team....except he's not washed yet

Took 60 points from Giannis to beat the Pistons in OT.

Yep... better pass and it's Sangun's dunk ftw.
5 wins in a row en route to tying their current losses. They seem to win games as long as dame scores close to 20 or more.

9-9 now ... they are out of their funk, one of the best defenses in the league... (chalk that up to Doc work)
