This court color is beyond distracting. :lol

Embiid definitely looks like he has dropped a heap of weight.

I don't think I have ever seen him look so light. It shows too because KAT is bumping him around inside. Looks like he is struggling to hold his position.

Would love to watch these games but refuse to do so with these atrocious courts. There is no way I am subjecting my eyes to that for several hours. Repulsive. 99% of these meaningless cup games are hard passes.

What should Embiid's actual weight be to help his knees out

Need to adjust the contrast ratio and brightness on the TV for these cup courts

The Knicks continue to not look great

I mean, the Knicks are winning by a little, up eight points in the mid-second quarter

But they still just kind of look okay and not great

Joel embiid is 0 for three in 11 minutes

On paper the Sixers should be a really good team.

If they are healthy of course

Like if Paul George is even 75% of the player he used to be, he should be a good offensive fit I would think

But I'm not positive because I still can't figure out how he and Tyrese Maxey will play together and be efficient

My stupid TV is acting up again. The court is blue. Stupid thing.

Josh Hart making some nice buckets. And he's got great motor out there.

Time to trade McCain. His value is at its peak .

All this time off to take a break and he looks like he's in slow motion.

So glad Embiid decided to not play in back to backs.

You’re insane. Outside of Maxey McCain is the only sixer guard whi can create his own offense.

When Maxey comes back they are not going to be able to play together much, not at all in the playoffs.

I have a strong feeling when there is an disgruntled star player available in the league Morey is going to offer a McCain/KJ Martin deal.

There is even talk of ROTY now. Maxey returns and his playing time is going to disappear. They can't f'ck up and hold on to him too long

This logic would’ve had us trade Maxey for Damien Lillard. Would you have done that deal then and now (hindsight)?

Sixers bench has been weak for quite some time over the years. You need a guy who can come in off the 2nd unit and create their own offense. The issue with Maxey/mccain is defense. Luka and Kyrie duo worked together tho. Dame and McCollum worked together. And let’s be honest Portland issues wasn’t the backcourt as far as needs to get to the next level/step.

The issue with trading young talent is it’s short sighted. You want to bring in a guy that’s disgruntled. So it’s an all or nothing move. Where this season and next is it. Then you’re looking to move on from that star and/or George (maybe Embiid but probably not). Such a tired plan imo. Copy cat move which is what teams do. Put together a good looking roster underestimating chemistry matters. Hey I thought James harden on paper would would especially with embiid (pick & roll). And it didn’t. And we have zero to show for acquiring Harden. Granted Doc rivers is also to blame but you get the point.

McCain isn’t this player you can’t trade. You can. I feel it’s way premature to consider it now over a very very small sample size spark from him. We need everyone healthy which is frustrating. But we need chemistry. Shyt matters. And getting a new star still doesn’t solve a woeful bench. Your bench needs to have a bucket getter. You bring this star in who is the 2nd unit scorer? The 6th man?

If anything I feel you can increase McCain value more than what it is now. How? By giving him meaningful minutes even when Maxey returns. Lowry? Jackson? Heck even some of Oubre minutes? They can go to McCain.

I love young guys that can contribute on rookie deals. I really like McCain too.

I am not as confident as you about a Maxey/McCain back court. Maxey plays big time minutes and when PG and Joel are all healthy the need for creation off the bench from McCain is going to drop.

I can already see the Celtics abusing him in the playoffs. Seems so predictable at this point. But hey, he is killing it right now and maybe he has more surprises. I just don't want to see him rotting on the end of the bench and his trade value tanking, Nurse is notorious for not playing rookies and when healthy seems likely to be the case. Morey too is known to not have the greatest appreciation of rookies and is always trying to land a big fish.

You’re right about that (nurse and Morey). It’s inevitable Boston will use its size to take advantage. Not to say that size with Maxey/Mccain wouldn’t be an issue. But I feel like our issues with Boston really hasn’t been lack of size. Moreso than our best players not showing up vs theirs.

But it’s eeely and we shall see. KJ Martin is being dealt for sure. And depending what’s available adding a prospect in a trade plus draft pick (we have assets) may be enough for a piece that “should” get us over the hump in playoffs. Guess we will see what Sixers do.

What I would do doesn’t matter as I’m going to think future. When the embiid/george collab expires along with the 1yr vet minimum guys. I’d like to develop some young talent to either be apart of the team going forward or maybe in a move to better the team. To be honest with you I’m not sold on Embiid/George and company. I just hope when this marriage is over we aren’t left with crap. Left with Maxey and mediocrity.
