You’re up three with less than a shot clock to play. Let him make the ****ing layup and if you want to play hero call for the ball and let them foul you and go to the line still up 1.
What is the right decision attempting to block the shot?
Yes Manu Did in fact block a couple attempted game winners. He got Harden on a pretty spectacular one once. But game 7….up 3? 20 seconds?
Keep the damn lead. The layup doesn’t hurt you.
It may be the only thing I’ve ever seen on a basketball court that competes with the skaters who tried to scam Tucos grandma.

In fairness to the twins on BCS they thought they were scamming someone else completely, and obviously had no idea who the hell Tuco was. It's still retarded to call someone's grandmother a biznatch regardless of who it is, but if they knew who Tuco was, there's a 0% chance they still would've done that. Given all that, Manu's is the dumber decision.
Two options I'd like to throw into the ring
These two bozos trying to kill a mobster closely affiliated with Tony, with one of them wearing their seatbelt during a drive by shooting attempt

Or the Seahawks, a yard away from winning the Super Bowl, deciding to throw a quick slant pass over the middle of the field to a scrub receiver instead of giving the ball to the most dominant back in the game at the time

The Seahawks.
Dumb as the hit was they thought it was the desire of a captain they were looking to get in with who outranked Chris. The Seahawks not only had Beastmode they had a timeout to use if he got stuffed on a run. Not like they needed to save the timeout for a possible kick. They were down 4. Classic case of analytics being used over common sense. They had so many metrics they forgot it’s still a football game. Along those lines…..
Dumber decision?
Pulling Tim Duncan for(of all things) defense and giving up the biggest rebound in history to his man when securing that rebound gives you the title?

Or taking a shit in your targets house knowing he could be home any minute and there’s a loaded gun on the counter outside the bathroom and he’d immediately know someone had to be in there if he came in?

Even considering it was likely the other guys gun you just don’t take a shit and leave no eyes on the door/outside either way.
Youre waiting because you expect him. You know he’s a fighter you need to get the drop on(he just killed a guy in the ring…which is why you’re there). And you take a shit leaving yourself defenseless?
