Their scouts have always been great at finding NBA-ready talent beyond the top picks. Some of them have been working there since the early 2000s. Knecht was a no-brainer though and one that happened to fall in their laps.

I can't tell if you're implying that the league instructed the rest of the teams to allow Knecht to fall to the Lakers, or if they gave the Lakers the scouting tip to grab him at 17. Either way...:lol

Well technically the language in the article says Lebron "knew he was going to be a star." Which doesnt mean he's a star now. Just that LeStradamus was certain he would become one. And so this and his other recent performances suggest he is on that trajectory as predicted.
