Paul George left the game against the Grizzlies with a left knee hyperextension.
It's the same knee that caused George to miss early season games due to a bone bruise from a previous hyperextension.
Sixers 2-12 now.

4 year deal, 211 million for a mid 30 year old guy whose always injured. Bravo to another brilliant GM move! :applause:
Very well then. I guess no more eastern semifinals, for now. :ohwell:

It's hard to even quantify what a disaster the last decade has been for Philly. Anything that could go wrong, has gone wrong.

It’s funny but also not funny what’s going on with the sixers. Good luck to their fans on trying to wake up from the nightmare

Philly once again the laughing stock of the NBA :oldlol:
Russian…Jay Z….Brooklyn…Big “3” for 3 seconds….Ben Simmons
I think nets still have that laughing stock title. Short term memory at your age is scary. Last time you seen your doctor?

Philly gets Harden, he turns to shit/declines bad.
Philly gets PG, he turns to shit/injured.

You should become sports journalist the way you just make up narratives.

Its actually even worse cause Harden improved after leaving the Sixers

Jesus the nonsense you guys post. Do you do this because you’re addicted to responses? Like “I know what I’m saying is wrong but I want to see who responds and go from there”? Serious question. While you think of an answer that doesn’t make me cringe I’ll leave this here…
Sixers - 21-10-6 43% fg 37% 3pt
Nets - 24-10-8 44% fg 35% 3pt
Clippers - 17-8-6 42% fg 37% 3pt
Where did he get worse going to Philly then get better going to clippers?
And check Paul George games played before last season (contract year).
48 games played
51 games played
31 games played
56 games played
George being injured has always been his thing. Embiid played more games in that time span than Paul George has. Again you dudes and these wacky narratives tho…

You literally just showed him getting worse going to Philly.
He took on a smaller role with Clips, when Kawhi went down and he became Nr. 2 like he was in Philadelphia, he was much better with the Clippers than with Philly.
Not sure why this is hard to admit.
Whatever's happening to them rn is unfortunate. But nick nurse, i feel so bad for him. :ohwell:

So avg 3ppg less while shooting the 3 better = got worse?
You said he got better playing by for Clippers. But no comment about that? Why you casually ignore that while making a moronic claim about someone avg 3pts less = got worse.
The logic here makes my head hurt. You dudes really just be typing.

Nick has a lot to blame as well for how they are playing. Don’t give him passes

There is a saying something like perception is greater than reality. Reason i say this is because I am going to tell you what it looks like from the outside not necessarily saying it is the reality.
I only catch the sixers a handful of times a year and I have the same takeaway as AW. Whether it is coaching or culture or health or whatever there really does feel like there is a dampening aura around that team.

It’s because you allowed yourself to feed into the sports media narrative ever since they intentionally tanked publicly. Which was frowned upon. So any hiccup, issue, bad move/signing etc gets magnified tenfold as a “ha told u the trust the process ie tank to get better movement was a sham. It brings losing culture”. That’s all it is. I’m a realist with the Sixers. I don’t sugarcoat. I don’t blindly hype up any and everything about Sixers. His argument is flawed because he’s incapable of expressing it. If he wants to say what you did? That’s fine. But don’t say what he initially did then when I show you stats that don’t match up with what you said? Turn into a turtle and tuck ya head in. These posters don’t do that. They need assistance when saying how they feel or what they meant.
Either way the sports media creates narratives for outsiders to start believing. It’s nasty work. Like all of a sudden you go to Philly and get hurt. As if the player they received didn’t have injury issues prior “yea but that’s different”. Doc rivers coaching here was nothing new. He tricks it off in the playoffs. How’s the Bucks doing since he bullied his way to that job? Or is that a result of Philly? Because he coached here then now he’s cursed. And before Philly he was a champion (sarcasm).
When sixers traded for James harden I applauded the move and majority here clowned me. Wouldn’t be shocked if he was in the thread doing so. Now it’s James harden got worse as a sixer even tho when he was traded for? People said James Harden was a…LOSER. So I’m confused how the perception of James harden is that of a stat whore perennial loser. But when he came to Philly he plays worse? And Jana being a perennial loser is another narrative created by the sports media.
But whatever….
