I think if Hartenstein's overall impact could be transformed into an equivalent ppg stat that's easier for people to understand, he'd be seen as a legit all-star caliber player. Hes kind of like a hybrid of a high motor garbage man and a skilled finesse player, and hes very good on both ends.

I think the dimension he brings to that OKC team in terms of freeing up Chet and also the two-man-game potential he has with SGA... I think even tho people have acknowledged it, it might still be getting under rated. Once theyre healthy and have had some time together it could be devastating.

They needed offensive diversity outside their five-out scheme and he provides that. A legitimate rim runner and elbow creator. He's kind of like Joakim Noah.

Hartenstein came back at almost the perfect time with Chet going out. He'll be very serviceable.

Wasn’t there a guy who botched a lay up from a J-Will elbow pass in an actual nba game?

That was the rookie Sophomore game. Though he did once fake a behind the back then throw a no look that bounced off Vlades face. I think Corliss Williamson caught it and laid it in though.

Great comparison.

I knew Hartenstein was going to be a success to some degree. When a guy of that size has good hands and feet, they can't help but make a positive impact.
