Haven't watched any of their games, but it seems they found their tune pretty fast this year.
The winning streak correlates with starting Derrick Lively, which I didn't understand why they didn't do from the get go.
Luke so far, career low in turnovers and career high in steals.

If Luka didn’t come into the season out of shape/calve-injury, and Gafford didn’t show up 10-15lbs overweight, the Mavs would probably be 21-3 right now.
Even with all that, their announcers the other game, said 4/5 of their 8 losses are by 3 or less. Same announcers tried to play it off early like Gafford had put on muscle, but Gafford’s already lost 10 lobs since preseason. Once Klay is fully comfy in his new “reduced motion on offense” role, and Exum and the bench are healthy, they’re right up there with OKC as the Western Confercne favorites.
Nowhere near as much parity in the west this year, as there was last year.

Still love Gafford, but Lively is the better option against most opposing matchups.
A big part of it, is that Spencer is already suoer familiar with everything, and wants to prove he can be a major contributor on a championship team.

Oh yeah they have Dinwiddie now too, that's crazy and he's only 31 years old, great pickup.
Now they just need to get DFS and Boban back and that's their championship team. I think DFS should be available too.

Powell cheerleads enough (to not need fan fave Boban) and can still give a great Gortat screen despite being undersized.
Haven’t seen much of Dodo lately, where is he ? Bklyn ?
