The latest Joel Embiid injury is a sinus fracture

Joel Embiid was struck in the face during the first half of Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers while protecting the paint and has since been diagnosed with a sinus fracture.

Over the weekend, Embiid will be put through additional testing.

Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin accidentally struck Embiid in the face with 11 seconds left in the first half of Friday's game when he tried to make a putback layup after Tyrese Haliburton missed a shot. The large man was treated by medical professionals before leaving the court.
