You wouldn’t be able to blow up the team and keep your job. And I’d be concern safety wise for fanatics be it on social media and/or in real time. Blowing it up would not work no matter what logical explanation you could come up with. You would need to be Pat Riley, Greg Pop to pull that move off. The franchise blew it up and tanked intentionally (which I was all for and still stand on it). You think you could do that now where one of the faces is Embiid who was apart of the biggest blow up in franchise history? People still mock, throws shots at “trust the process”. Good luck trying for round 2. Maybe next season or two. But now? Fresh off giving George the max?

Your best bet is the injuries to George and embiid linger long where you can shut them down. And play for a top lottery pick that’s protected I believe. I think that’s the most reasonable way to go about this team. Enter the Flagg, Bailey, Harper sweepstakes
