It won’t be the first game I have watched. It’s the first one this year I have taken note of in advance and then intended to be home specifically because it’s going on.

And no, I don’t care who wins the game because of the tournament. I intend to watch it because based on last year, I believe the players will care who wins that game. And I’m always down to watch the NBA when I believe the players are invested.

Even rich people like more money. Giannis is supposed to be really frugal. I could see him going hard for that extra.

If you have bad news to convince me not to bother I’d like it by 6am eastern.

All injury news is welcome.

I feel like this will be similar to the Lakers winning last season. Win the NBA Cup, but struggle throughout the season, then flame out in the playoffs.

Who do they put on Giannis, Lu Dort? OKC had more talent but that's a bad match up to struggle with.

When healthy, the Thunder arguably have the best defense since the Pistons in the early 2000's, so 20 years ago. Bucks are on a good run but the Thunder are the second best team in the league in my opinion behind the Celtics (I'm not fully sold on the Cavs).

Thunder will win this.

What a wild thing to say after 1/4 of a regular season.

If dame can win this, i suppose it's better than nothing at all. Because it's likely he will never get to win a championship at this point.

I'm very excited too.

I do wonder how OKC could contain Giannis. How would they approach it?

At the same token, what can the Bucks perimeter defense do against SGA and J-Dub?

Giannis and SGA are both two of the top 4 best players imo. So, it'll be an exciting matchup. For the Bucks to see where they are at in comparison to the best teams in the league. To OKC, experience for a huge stake game.

I feel like it'll be better than last year.

OKC has shown itself to be a great perimeter defensive team. Especially when Dort/others are allowed to use both hands and push and hand check constantly.

Tonight we’ll see if their roster has enough flexibility and length, outside of Hartenstein at the rim, to do a great job on a rejuvenated Giannis.

Also, on the flip side, MKE has some truly great interior defenders, but OKC scores a lot in transition and midrange.

Should be a good game, no matter how it shakes out.
I got OKC. Sam Presti (best in the biz imho) has set them up to be a perennial contender in the west for the next 7yrs lol

that is a bunch of crap... He just won the most in his NBA career ..
but he'll win a chip , and go into HOF.

He doesn't win cup without Giannis , Giannis doesn't win cup without Dame.
