**** your tea.

And **** you for blithely playing along with the idea that he was boring to watch.

if you see something say something. All evil needs to prosper is the silence of good men. And you let evil prosper like a mother****er.

The Spurs were sometimes boring early in his careera. Tim Duncan personally was giving people work. And shame on you for not stressing the distinction when you probably had the chance.

Watching someone dominate is never boring, regardless of their style, so I feel that but on the other hand Duncan is such a Kblaze player you may be overrating the level of exciting he was (not saying he wasn't fun to watch ofc).

You were probably a sympathizer of the Duncan is boring regime. If not an outright collaborator. There may be no blood on your hands, but you were close enough to smell it. I won’t let you hide what you were from your grandchildren.

I never felt strongly about Duncan's style in terms of"entertainment" one way or another. To me he was entertaining in that his presence on the court meant that you are watching at least one of the best teams in the league. He was always a major factor in championship contention. So if you were into the NBA you had to pay attention to what he was doing.

You know what OP, youre right. Duncan is a nice cup of tea. And a nice cup of tea is well and good, perfectly fine.

But when you really want to be stimulated, YOU TURN TO LeCOFFEE.

I mean you can pull a highlight tape of anybody. Duncan was generally a basic straight forward type of player. He had very little flash in his game... is what it is. He wasn't theatrical. Jokic scoring is kind of the same way. Yolk is not an exciting scorer. Doesn't make him not extremely effective.

Half-man, half amazing (Vince Carter for you lil tykes)
His cousin Tmac
Iverson
Etc

I never give Duncan disrespect when I say he’s boring. But he was.
Great player, not fun to watch.

But word up, on the “all evil needs to succeed is for good men to be silent or do nothing.” Apply it elsewhere, apply it liberally. To every apathetic youngin you come across, ideally.

Word, I don’t find Jokic scoring entertaining at all. It’s his passing game I fu@k with heavily.

Underrated, primarily post/face-up game that wasn’t flashy or a spectacle, but I liked a lot more than Duncan’s ? From around the same time ?

Shareef Abdur Rahim

I was a D-1 SG, but had a back to the basket game, a lot like a smaller Shareef, in terms of movement/balance/etc. Shareef legs were agile like a SF, but was big enough to score from the paint all day like a PF.

So great he's in my top 10/15 somewhere.

If it wasn't for his solid defense and great teams/system, i was more impressed with Chuck at PF.

What's the best player comparison for Duncan? He was compared to Brad Daugherty. He's more explosive than him though.

This is a good question. I’m honestly drawing blanks. He was plain but I can’t think of a guy who matched his size/strength/athleticism/iq/fundamental play.

This sounds really weird but what if you morphed a poor man’s wilt with a poor man’s bill russell?

Would that be duncan?

I don't know but I'm feeling Daugherty with some McHale thrown in there.

That's that Mashburn shit. That type of game is way more fun to watch than pull-up 3s.
