SGA would average 40 over the course of the series. If Holmgren is back and at his normal level I am comfortably betting on the Thunder.

Any team with Jokic has to be taken seriously but if they can force Lavine to defend SGA that match up is getting them killed.

I will say that Jokic is the hardest player in the league for the Celtics to deal with if they meet in a series. But he's going to have to do a lot of damage, even more than he normally would. I world expect Jaylen Brown to eat Lavine alive if theyput him on him. The Celtics make it a point to attack bad defenders. They could try to hide him on Holiday but that's just begging for a pick and post play with Porzingis. Denver should be trying to surround Jokic with great defenders.

He had 36 in Thursday... and then 14 on Saturday. He's generally not a problem. If the Celtics want to focus on him they have the personnel to deal with him.

I've never seen any sign of good defense from Lavine, be it on ball off the ball, or at the mall.

Lol you must have lost a lot of money betting on ball-dominators like SGA that have a lot of unassisted buckets (low assisted rate)... Since possession-tracking began in 1997, every instance of "the best basketball" required highly-assisted 1st options - this includes 4 of 4 "dynasties" that mostly won over a material stretch of 5+ years (Jordan , Shaq, Duncan, Curry) and 8 of 8 "dominant champion" that averaged 1 loss or less per round, aka 4 losses max (97' Jordan, 01' Shaq, 02' Shaq, 99' Duncan, 07' Duncan, 17' Durant, 23' Jokic, 24' Tatum)..

SGA will need super-team help to win just like every high-scoring other ball-dominator, unless you think he's better than prime Lebron.

I think Porter fits better within the team versus Lavine. Lavine for Murray makes more sense. Having Murry and Lavine on the same team is counter productive.
