Same rental company as the truck that was used in the New Orleans terrorist attack.

sh1tty ass truck.
Elon Musk proclaimed on X that the explosion was caused by "very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented cybertruck". The people in the video described it as a series of booms. The footage in the OP captures fireworks erupting in the aftermath of the explosion.
If I were to guess, this was a terrorist attack, meant to send a message. A Cybertruck parked in front of a Trump hotel just seems too perfect.

Yeah. I would think it was battery explosion but it clearly was from inside the trunk. Wonder the identity of the killed person inside the truck.

If it has been a Raptor, the truck would have exploded into a million pieces and the shrapnel would have killed a bunch of people lol

i guess its a good thing raptors don't just go up in flames randomly.
and cybertrucks don't seem to stand up to a fire too well when a firetruck isn't down the street

Great observations. The guy shot himself in the head right before the Cybertruck exploded.
I have to blame the media for provoking deep TDS. Hoping that Blade doesn't end up doing something similar.
Honestly, this is not the end. Knowing how much the "Deep State" doesn't want Trump to come back in power, and are the type to kill billions of people if they could, they're probably, somehow involved in both terrorists attacks, with more chaos to come.

What a fail. The dude shot himself in the head like a punk only for his bomb to only cause some firework burns no more than a 5 year old getting a sparkler burn.

i don't think his intention was to hurt people though. he just wanted to make a spectacle to grab attention according to what the authorities are saying they have found in their investigation.
also, the shawn ryan podcast had someone that said he emailed them days before the explosion and confirmed the same thing about wanting to grab attention. surprised no one is talking about the podcast, apparently this guy talked about some army coverup in the middle east and antigravity drones.

Like the soldier that immolated himself and died in protest of Israel last year. Literally no one remembers anymore and most certainly don't remember his name. And for what? For nothing.
Martyrdom went out of style in the Middle Ages.

Still a fail. No one will care in a month. In a few years people will say, "Remember the Cybertruck bombing in Las Vegas?" And people will go, "Huh?"

I'm one of those don't remember or even heard about it. People are dumb.

Meh, sacrificing yourself as an act of protest against injustice is admirable, how many of us would have the courage to do that? Gotta admire his willingness to die for what he believed in, even if it was ultimately futile. His name was Aaron Bushnell btw.

:facepalm
Why do you have to die though? What does it accomplish? That's literally one less voice for your cause if you kill yourself. If you're against Israel, it's not like Netanyahu is over there telling his cabinet that American soldiers are killing themselves in protest, so we better stop bombing Gaza. Committing suicide is not courageous. It's weak. Staying alive and fighting for change by staying alive and trying to change minds without the spectacle of immolation is courageous. These soldiers are just as crazy as Islamists who strap a bomb around their body and blow themselves up.

no one will care because we are bombarded with news that far surpasses our mental bandwidth. just like the countless wtf events that have occurred recently that fall quickly out of the news cycle.

He didn't have to die, it was his choice. He hoped it would get enough attention that the genocide might be stopped. Similar actions were taken during the Vietnam War. It was misguided of him to think Biden would care enough to do anything but being willing to die in order to save others (this is what he thought would happen at least) is brave.

Meh, he probably only wanted to make a splash for just ONE day, not an eternity.
He got his imagery across. He made his splash. He got his headline. Threads were created.
On a side note, it's crazy how ugly Cybertrucks are. I'd be really surprised if they are still in production 3 years from now. After the novelty is gone, you're stuck with an ugly tin box. And it makes the driver look like a nerdy try-hard.
