Polls and Media were telling us Kamala had this in the bag and she lost every swing state, and lost ground with every demographic except black women and old white people. The case reflects Trump’s anger at the final Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll of the 2024 election season. It was conducted at the end of October by Selzer’s firm, Selzer & Co., based on telephone interviews with 808 Iowa likely voters. My honest take on January 6th, it was a pretty disgraceful event that like everything else got polarized, but the rhetoric definitely went overboard with people claiming a bunch of rednecks were a legitimate threat to democracy, that it was as bad as 9/11 etc.

I do believe that if some of those rioters, esp the ones who came with weapons and restraints had gotten their hands on Pence, Pelosi, Romney etc, the events of that day could've taken a real dark turn. Trump's lucky that didn't happen, I don't think he survives his supporters potentially kidnapping members of congress or worse.
