Reed Sheppard was drafted by the wrong team

He is not even getting some playing time for the Rockets. He is too good for the g league. Yes he is poor defensively. And when he was given major minutes he went 1/9 from the field. I think in Utah he can develop as a player.

Yeah he was in a shooting slump the entire season with the Rockets. Likely an anomaly, he lit it up at Kentucky and apparently just dropped 49 in his G-League debut. Might be a sort of Jamaal Murray situation, where he can get really hot and in rhythm when he's leading the offense, but when he's an off-ball supporting piece it's harder for him to get going.

Being a surprise contender they obviously werent gonna turn the reigns over to him at this stage, but I wouldnt sell on him yet. Might just take a year or two for things to align in terms of where hes at and what the team needs. He's got plenty of talent.

He is gonna be fine. Once he becomes an integral part of the team with his shooting Rockets will be really dangerous.

He was the #3 ovrl pick, if he was purple people would be talking about him.. and yes he is important to Houston's future cause Van Fleet is aging..

I will concede the he needs to go to the jazz to succeed.. definitely prejudice thoughts. Why, is that the only place a white person can succeed? As a Rockets fan I'd rather he fail everywhere else.
