Why do the biggest white supremacists have dark hair and eyes?

I was watching a documentary on white supremacists. You'd figure most would have blonde hair blue eyes. Ahh hell nah. Most of these guys have dark hair and dark eyes like the people they hate. Do they feel insecure about not having a fair complexion and the hate they project on to others really hate for themselves?
