It's as "green veggie" as British cuisine can have. :oldlol:

Most overrated meal that exists. You can have a rare version of it that's amazing but if it isn't actually great then I'd rather have plenty of other things.
It's like the opposite of pizza where "even if it's bad it's good". For me fish and chips are if it's not great it's kind of bad.

Fish and chips: full of fat, bad cholesterol, deep fried, and very unhealthy. Not surprised at all that the chubby midget OP has that as his favorite food. He should worry about himself having a heart attack. :lol

I had a crazy fish n chips in Alaska. It is highly dependent on the right fish, a fluffy breading ( people can make really bad onion rings, too. Anything with cheese stick breading is ass,) and of course some meaty wedge fries.
I think if I had to eat a random dinner, I’d choose fish and chips cuz man pizza can really fail hard, to me. Bad cheese, soggy, bad crust…
Post pix of your fish and chips stand, Lebron23!

There's a place by me that serves beer battered Walleye and it's some of the best tasting fish I've ever had at a restaurant.

Here's a riddle for you guys:
What's the difference between Axe and an accused criminal?
There's no way the autistic idiot Axe is going to figure it out, so I'll just go ahead and tell the answer. :lol
An accused criminal has the right to be presumed innocent. Axe has the affliction of being presumed retarded.
 SO true.

Curry sauce? Never tried that... I use tartar sauce

Battered Canadian Haddock / Cod, dipped in a mix of various spicy-fruity/Thai-Garlic/mustard-based-barbados hot sauces mixed into regular tartar …. Never get tired of it. Could eat it daily.
The chips/fries ? **** that.
Potato starch when deep fried, produce some of the highest levels of acrylamide of any food we fry. Much worse than lower glycemic starches.

caught my usual 15 pounds of fish , fillets are in freezer. (20 pounds if including walleye)
This is all de boned fillets... have big dinners with 3-5 people ... every two or so weeks,
Most if not all is northern pike.
I have found if you use 1/2 flour, 1/2 pancake batter , then dipped in egg , and breaded with Italian bread crumbs everyone loves it.
Fish is the best food for your mind and body.
Unfortunately deep fried is not the best , but 6 meals a year I feel does not hurt.
Walleye pan fried in butter with salt and pepper.
Best eating fish there is in fresh water, next to coho.
