...at least for anchor babies of illegal aliens
President Donald Trump issued an executive order Monday that will end automatic citizenship for children whose parents are foreign nationals, whether they're here legally or not.
On Tuesday, a coalition of 18 states sued Trump and federal agencies in U.S. District Court in Massachussetts, claiming the order violates the Constitution. The ACLU filed a separate legal challenge in New Hampshire on behalf of immigrant advocacy organizations on similar grounds.

"Rules for thee but not for me" is in effect. :ohwell:
This probably going to the Supreme Court. I dont think this is a huge issue relative to other immigration issues but it does get rid of some headaches and open up options for Trump wants to expand deportations further. I do wonder how many current citizens were birth right citizens

Well until we figure it out you can bet the ProTrump states will not allow anchor babies starting in 30 days and the Anti-Trump states will. Who knows what the purple states will do. Republicans should pound in the fact that the 14th amendment was made for blacks not illegal aliens. It's going to be a battle that's for sure. You have the damn Chinese women coming to America to have "birth tourism" too. We are being taken advantage of. Time to stop the nonsense

Only problem I have with Indians is that they're dirt cheap. Any time I've dealt with an Indian customer in my 20 plus years of being in Sales and Business, they always try to get a better price. Never fails. And these people are doctors driving six figure cars. Makes no sense.

I had a job in sales when I was a teenager and people warned me about indians and I thought they were being racist as ****. I started working and I instantly figured out what they were talking about. That shit is wild. They are legit on another level.

You're without a doubt 1st generation American, my folks were OG Tejanos, meaning they were in Texas before it "magically" became a US state. Do you consider yourself Spanish or Mexican? Spain had Texas for around 140 years. The US has had it for 180 years. Mexico only had it 27 years. They have the least attachment to it.

Trump sending the first 1500 of 10000 troops to the border to join the 4500 Texas already has plus the 2200 Biden sent there for logistics to help the Border Patrol. Posse Comitatus prevents troops from law enforcement duties inside the US. It's expected Trump will declare the border crisis as a threat to national security and allow troops, for the first time I believe, to engage directly with migrants trying to enter the country illegally as well as cartels moving drugs as Trump has already declared them a terrorist threat paving the way for troops to engage directly against them. Love him or hate him, it's clear he's not f*cking around anymore
Now all the liberals here who said Biden was doing a great job at the border, watch and learn, and most importantly, pay attention to the numbers

I think you need to do a little research on the difference between US state national and a US citizen. America before 1865 and America after. Common law vs corporate law.
Actually understand the tyranny of the 14th Amendment and get back at me.

There isn't a best country on Earth. Of course the US is one of the best but it has it's ups and it's downs. There are other countries that may be better in what the US is lacking and the US is better in some of the things those countries are lacking, so to speak. Plenty of Americans leave the US for other places to live and vice versa. Most of the folks coming to the US, especially illegally, come from under developed countries, where the US is obviously a better option than where they're coming from. I'm not hating on the US BTW, it's just my opinion and I'm speaking on personal experience. I love living in Mexico, it certainly has it's problems but I also loved living in the US and noticed it's faults. One of the things I miss most of living in the US and it might seem trivial to some but I miss watching pro sports live, having lived in Chicago, the LA area, San Diego and San Antonio throughout the years, I've watched the Bears, Bulls, White Sox, Cubs, Angels, Dodgers, Clippers, Padres and Spurs home games. I miss that living in Queretaro, MX. I went to see a Queretaro Club soccer match once but I'm not really a big soccer fan :lol I'm planning a trip to my old stomping grounds Chicago in the near future to take my kids to watch an MLB baseball game (White Sox), an NFL game (Bears) and an NBA game (Bulls) during our stay. Fortunately I still have family in Chicago so that'll help with avoiding hotel costs.

Mexico being a lot worse would be your opinion but there are tons of YouTube videos of Americans living in Mexico and having the opinion that living in Mexico is far better than the US (their opinion).

Not sure how I feel about this. While I do agree that birthright citizenship has become a problem, it's still something within the constitution.
If it were to stick, Democrats would then have a precedent to go back and reinterpret the 2nd amendment. They wouldn't be able to get rid of it but they would be able to make sweeping changes where you would lose access to most firearms, or they would make it really difficult to obtain them.

I guarantee you there are Americans who think, Canada, Japan, Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden etc are "better" places to live in. An amendment has already been repealed. The 18th. Remember prohibition? Besides I imagine it would be much more difficult to repeal anything in the Bill of Rights than an amendment that was ratified after the founding fathers wrote up The Constitution

I'm sorry that you feel that way but I never once claimed the US sucks. I clearly wrote in a previous post the I loved living in the US while noticing it faults. I also stated that the US is one of the best but it's not the best because it has it's negatives and if you want me to be specific, I'll spell them out. The cost of living in the US is insane compared to other countries, housing costs are through the roof (no pun intended), so bad that the younger generation can't afford to buy a house anymore, too many Americans work two jobs just to make ends meet, medical costs are terrible, a catastrophic illness can easily make an American family homeless, most Americans live paycheck to paycheck which SHOULD NOT BE A THING considering the US is the world's most powerful economy. Higher education can put you in debt for decades, in other 1st world nations, it's free or way cheaper. The US pumps it's foods with too many persevatives which studies show causes cancer. If the US was the head and shoulders best country to live in, why is the US consistently out of the world happiness index while Nordic countries always place near the top, for example. Mental health issues and depression is a very real social problem in the US, not to mention drug abuse...explain why it's such a problem in the US?
Like I've said before, the US is one of the best places to live in but it's not without it's problems, far from it. Just because I can see this doesn't mean I hate the US :lol

Idk but if Democrats keep sticking up for illegal aliens coming into this country and taking advantage of our freedoms that are supposed to be for Americans, let's just see how that works out for them. I know liberal people who are way left on most issues, that are extremely irked on the illegal immigration flood into this country to the point, they want to or have moved, and *gasp* even thought(or have even though they wouldn't admit it) about voting for Trump. It's a lose lose for these folks, they just have to think about how badly they want to LOSE :lol
