View Full Version : Mims is just a regular dude, so he can just go to a regular doctor for testosterone

The only reason that a regular dude would go through the black market is because it's for a pro athlete that needs to hide it.
The DEA observed Lebron's best friend (Ernest "Randy" Mims) meeting and receiving numerous PED's from Biogenesis co-founder Carlos Acevedo, and this meeting was brokered by Lebron's long-time trainer David Alexander.
These 2 associates of Lebron (his bestie and his trainer) purchased testosterone and various other PED's, along with a blood draw.. Why would all this be necessary for a regular guy like Mims that can just go to a regular doctor for the weight loss treatment that he claimed??.. Accordingly, the testosterone and other PED's were for a pro athlete that needed to hide it.. And since they were purchased by 2 guys that were associated with Lebron (his trainer and his bestie), we can conclude that the roids were for Lebron.
Btw, Lebron's wife co-owned a juice bar with Lebron's trainer David Alexander (who was brokering the drug deals between Lebron's bestie Mims and Biogenesis/Carlos Acevedo).. See the entire article here (https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/38089564/tony-bosch-biogenesis-treated-wwe-star-big-show-boxer-shannon-briggs-others).. No one knew the DEA even conducted this investigation until 10 years after it happened in 2013, so it was a cover-up from the beginning... The feds also never talked to Mims or Alexander (Lebron's bestie and trainer) - they only talked to Carlos Acevedo (the Biogenesis co-founder), who told them the story about Mims buying the roids for weight loss.

it's notable that when Lebron's trainer and bestie bought roids from Carlos Acevedo, Carlos was "running his own performance-enhancing drug operation and no longer had any connection to Bosch, the Biogenesis mastermind" according to ESPN - so he was literally running the "new juice" clinic that KG referenced.
Ultimately, there have been so many mysteries solved already in 2025 - so far, we've learned that Lebron is the Lance Armstrong of the NBA, and also the reason for his underperforming and needy rosters, i.e. ball-dominators can't have elite roster construction because their skillset turns everyone into spot-up shooter (reduces their assists and increases their assisted rate), which is why they have never been the leading scorer for dynasties or dominant champions (the best basketball).

Everyone knew that the 94' Bulls weren't a real 50-win team and the bubble would burst quickly.. We recently saw Lebron and AD lose to the Spurs because they weren't motivated and this is what the 94' Bulls faced all year - sleeping opponents... Once opponents woke up in the playoffs and following season, the "real" Bulls were 2nd Round loser and barely .500 in 95' before MJ restored 3-peat in his first full seasons back.

Pete Myers was a 6th round pick and played b2b seasons in Italy before getting the call from Chicago who were in need of a starting SG.

Kukoc won 4 games by himself at the buzzer in 1994 and another half dozen or so in the 4th, and then he saved the Bulls from going down 0-3 in the 2nd Round to Ewing - so Kukoc was in the "jordan" role, and even a poor man's Jordan is worth 10-15 games.. Plus Longley, Kerr, Harper - all new guys that Jordan never played with... all of this, plus sleeping opponents and placebo effect of no pressure/expectation/naivete.
Kukoc was a better and more talented and skilled prodigal player compared to Pippen, who was mostly a dunker that was inflated by Jordan to something slightly more (larry nance at best)

I don't understand why steroids and designer drugs are illegal. They say it's because they're dangerous and can physically harm the user. But alcohol, and cigarettes an fast food are everywhere. How does the logic add up.
Steroid products used under strict supervision and with discipline are actually good for your body. They will make you stronger and more robust. If you abuse them? Yea it will hurt you but you can say that about anything. If you eat too much food it will kill you too. Is food bad? No it's how you use it.
So long story short I'm perfectly OK with Lebron using PEDs.

Directly from DEA documents (https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/38089564/tony-bosch-biogenesis-treated-wwe-star-big-show-boxer-shannon-briggs-others):
The surveillance of Mims (lebron's bestie), Alexander (lebron's trainer) and Acevedo (kingpin of drug lab) occurred on a muggy, cloudy May afternoon in 2013, when an eight-member DEA surveillance team took turns tailing Acevedo as he drove a white Honda Accord through the streets of Miami.
Acevedo, identified as wearing a red sleeveless shirt and white ball cap, and the owners of the Acura and the Jeep -- Alexander and Mims, respectively -- talked in front of the gym before the dealer drove away.
According to documents, Acevedo said he supplied Alexander with substances in 2013.. He told authorities of having provided testosterone, peptides, HCG and metabolism-boosting injections for approximately 35 days.. Later, he told of supplying Alexander with peptides, HCG and metabolism-boosting injections for upward of four months.
He did not supply him with testosterone the second time, Acevedo told authorities, because Alexander was receiving testosterone from the Miami anti-aging facility.
As to why authorities never ultimately pursued Alexander, Stanfill, the former DEA agent, said he was seen as "a little bit too small of a fish, so nothing much came from that."
^^^ Even though Alexander (bron's trainer) was on surveillance meeting Acevedo (drug kingpin), and even though Acevedo told the DEA about extensive drug transactions with Alexander, and even though the DEA concedes that Alexander is at least a "small fish" in the roid' distribution game (bolded and underlined above), Alexander denied knowing Acevedo entirely and acted like a guilty person (below):
ESPN first interviewed Alexander in 2017 about Acevedo, then again in recent months.. During an initial meeting at DBC Fitness, a Miami gym he now owns, he appeared to be stunned upon hearing his name associated with Carlos Acevedo, saying, "I don't know who that is. I have no recollection. ... The idea my name is in this is crazy."
Pressed further, Alexander abruptly ended the interview, demanding a reporter turn off a recording device and not use any notes from the interview. A few hours later, Alexander called the reporter, apologizing for cutting the interview short and pledging to research who Acevedo was and how he might know him.
When approached this past fall, Alexander remained equally perplexed, saying, "I don't know who that is. I've never had a conversation with any law enforcement pertaining to that gentleman [Acevedo] or pertaining to anything related to Biogenesis. ... I just want to make sure we're clear that I have zero affiliation with Biogenesis."
Alexander again said he would get to the bottom of it, saying, "I have some DEA in my family or in my friend line. I can ask them if they know anything about it."
He added: "Listen, I think what it sounds like, if I'm guessing -- it sounds like maybe this person you're speaking of was around or came by a gym. As you know, most gyms frequent about 100 to 200 people a day. So, like I said, I have no idea about this."
Alexander said no one other than ESPN had ever asked about his name appearing in the federal documents.. He made mention of his well-respected biomechanics facility and wondered whether his name might have been dropped in a bid to smear his reputation. He said: "I definitely have a lot of fans, but I also have a lot of enemies and people that would love to see my business go south. ... I've been able to build a very successful business doing business the right way and abiding by the law and doing all those things."
He asked to be provided copies of the documents in which his name appeared. Then he called later to say he didn't want them.
^^^ Notice how the feds never contacted Alexander (trainer) or Mims (bestie) because even though they conceded that Alexander was a "small fish", they were only interested in the big fish, which they already had with Acevedo... So they simply believed Acevedo's story that the roids were for Mims' weight loss and never contacted Mims or Alexander to investigate that claim... Essentially, Lebron was smart enough to not make the purchase directly and therefore get named in the investigation like A-Rod and others - Acevedo couldn't cover for A-Rod and athletes that made the purchases directly, but he easily fooled the DEA regarding associates that made the purchases, such as the ridiculous story about Mims weight loss... Again, any normal person like Mims would go to a normal doctor - only a pro athlete would need to access the black market.
So the media coverage of this story simply lies by saying there's "no indication" that Alexander supplied the roids to athletes - the DEA literally said that Alexander was a "small fish" in the PED game... So that's proof that the media is covering for Lebron - i.e. the DEA said that Alexander was a small fish - he was a trainer of pro athletes that was receiving tons of PED's from the biggest-ever supplier to pro athletes, yet the media lies and says there's "no indication"... Ultimately, just because they don't have the actual video of Alexander and Mims handing the package to Savannah at the juice bar that they all own together doesn't mean it didn't happen and isn't the most likely destination for those drugs, or other drugs to other athletes - Alexander was getting this stuff consistently from Acevedo for "upwards of 4 months" (that they know about) - that's a long time to get many cycles and years worth of drugs.

Well in theory it's not about the illegality from a law enforcement standpoint, but for the league. They're called performance-enhancing drugs. You're not allowed to enhance your performance in this manner.

Because cigarettes and fast food don't help you, but if you make steroids legal that'll become the standard and all athletes will be forced to take it in order to compete.

This is the hail mary theory/last hope of Lebron haters. A white flag if you will. Sounds like 3ball is at the end of the rope, don't do anything silly bud, it's just sports. You're to old to be hurting yourself over basketball.

Legality is one thing, but as far as sports organizations banning them, it's about fair competition. Sports professionals shouldn't have to take health-damaging PEDs just to avoid being at a competitive disadvantage to those that take them.
