SGA is having a special season but it's hard to ignore Jokic.

My argument for Nikola would be that, although SGA is carrying OKC's offense, the Thunder are winning because of its defense: -9.3 rDRtg and +3.5 rORtg. Conversely, Denver is all offense (+5.6 rORtg vs. +0.4 rDRtg) and Nikola can claim way more credit for that than Shai can for OKC's defense.

With how Denver is trending (11-10 to start the season; 17-6 since) they're going to end up with the 2nd seed.

While westbrook is better now than when he played for the clippers bt, i don't think he'd be enough once they play together with a slumping murray against young contenders like the thunder, the rockets or even the grizzlies, in the playoffs. If they happen to face sga and the thunder later on, he may still get his numbers somehow but not so much for his teammates.
