Probably the most incredible thing he has done is make Westbrook an impactful rotation player again. Been a while since that has happened.

The voters better recognize the season he is having and give him his rightful MVP trophy. This is one of those individual seasons that is GOAT level. The top tier the game has ever seen.

It needs to be rewarded as such. This is '86 Bird, '91 MJ, '00 Shaq, '09 Lebron type level we are talking about.

Better than '86 Bird to be honest.

Joker will have the Nuggets the number 2 seed in the west by the all star break, I dare anyone to say otherwise.:pimp:

SGA is having a special season but it's hard to ignore Jokic.

My argument for Nikola would be that, although SGA is carrying OKC's offense, the Thunder are winning because of its defense: -9.3 rDRtg and +3.5 rORtg. Conversely, Denver is all offense (+5.6 rORtg vs. +0.4 rDRtg) and Nikola can claim way more credit for that than Shai can for OKC's defense.

With how Denver is trending (11-10 to start the season; 17-6 since) they're going to end up with the 2nd seed.

This is unbelievable. I'm watching it and I still can't believe it.

He's still great on-floor but it seems he's trying too hard these days. While westbrook is better now than when he played for the clippers bt, i don't think he'd be enough once they play together with a slumping murray against young contenders like the thunder, the rockets or even the grizzlies, in the playoffs. If they happen to face sga and the thunder later on, he may still get his numbers somehow but not so much for his teammates.

It’s his 5th straight triple double. More amazing is that in at least 9 games so far this year, he has sat out the 4th quarter after getting a triple double in the third. That’s how he is load managing. Tonight, he should have been able to do the same, except the team went ice cold in the fourth.

Recent history says that the MVP winner goes home early, so I’m rooting for SGA.

He's a GOAT level player, there is no debate.

Crazy shit. Nothing about it feels forced.... Just a measured, calculated, no filler workmanlike approach. Everytime I think this is SGA's year for MVP, Jokic just casually jogs into 30+/20+/15+ points/rebounds/assist night. Logically, this is the best he's ever been so how would you justify not giving him MVP, especially if the Nuggets can retain a top 4 seeding? He's won MVP with worse numbers and the Nuggets seeded 6th.

Almost any other season SGA should be a lock. Unfortunately, 2025 Jokic is just a different animal.
