Well, he never beat a team that won a title.
The 91 Lakers and 88 Lakers are not similar.

The 80's Celtics and Lakers needed super-teams to barely hang with the Bad Boys, while MJ swept the Bad Boys and made them obsolete with just 1 low-producing all-star that averaged 17.8 ppg on weak efficiency.
Let that sink in.
So Jordan needed much less to knock off the Bad Boys than Bird and Magic did, and he would have 6 more titles from 85-90' with casts of the Celtics or Lakers.. Bird and Magic drastically underachieved with many all-star teammates compared to Jordan with just 1 all-star.
He never defeated any team in the conference finals until then came the implementation of flagrant foul into the league.

They whipped the Pistons in 1991 who were the defending champs and had beaten the 80s Lakers and Celtics. And it's not like Isiah and Dumars and Rodman were like 38 years old by then, they were still relatively young.
They beat the 1996 Orlando Magic who most people said were the next great NBA dynasty and sent Shaq running for LA.
Utah beat Shaq and Kobe both times in 97 and 98 and beat Hakeem's Rockets too. You can only play who they put in front of you. It's not MJ's fault Shaq and Kobe couldn't deal with the Mailman and Stockton.
Give Jordan equivalent talented teams that Magic and Bird had the benefit of from day 1 and he'd beat both of them.

You don't have to slay the monster when you are the monster.

He swept the reigning back to back champions in the CF. It's a bit difficult to beat a team that won a title in the finals when the last two came out of the same conference as you.

The weakest finals team in the modern era was the 2020 Heat.

Jordan was a huge reason for that since he pretty much denied all 90s superstars a ring except Hakeem. Who only won when he was retired.
The thing for me is I feel like his opponents had just as much if not more help than he did. Put MJ on the Blazers, Suns, Sonics or Jazz and it's the same result.
