yes, as an american most of us are expecting one since trump is picking a fight with everyone instead of making trade deals. dude can't read a room, everyone he's picking a fight is standing there ground and not as a negotiating tactic.

Well it's likely a bluff in the long term but trade with the US does favor Canada and Mexico more. Trump just wants to make sure the their advantage is even smaller. Nothing wrong with making sure things are more balanced. He's beholden to Americans, not Mexicans or Canadians. They are going to have to give him something. Especially Mexico. They were looking down the barrel of problems whether it was Trump or Kamala. Their outlook was looking dimmer even before the election. The previous president left this one with a mountain of debt she'll have to figure out how to pay down

Tell me, what is Canada and Mexico doing that is not in accordance with the 3 countries trade agreement? Just because Americans buy more than Mexicans and Canadians? Isn't that what Trump whines about the most? The US trade deficit with Mexico and Canada, right? Well bro, it's logical, the US is a bigger market than both Mexico and Canada combined, in fact it's basically double that.

Let me explain in simple terms, and you might wanna share this with the dope in chief...if I have a business in a neighborhood with 100 people, and in another neighborhood there's a business but 200 people live there...guess who has more potential customers, take a wild guess! Say half of my neighbors want to buy from the other neighborhood's business, that's 50 potential customers, and half of the other neighborhood wants to buy my products, that's 100 potential customers. Larger population = bigger market. WTF do you want Mexico and Canada to do??? Force their people to buy more US products? What about the free market? It's obvious the US will have trade deficits simply by having a lot more people :facepalm

Suggest some ideas how the US could cut into this deficit, other than banning products or putting tariffs since this is capitalism and we are trade partners.
