“Scripted” attempts to say that the games themselves, everything, is all fake.

That can’t possibly be true.

It’s definitely “guided” and “influenced” in very unnatural ways.

By people who don’t value the game or culture around it, in any way we as lovers of the game, would find acceptable.

The commish, his people, and the ownership collective, don’t view it with the same pure love the fans do, and it shows, glaringly.

This “unnatural” “fake” “entertainment-world-influence” is done in countless ways, but most obviously to us, are massive inconsistencies with nightly officiating, yearly management decisions, and generational favoritism towards the longest historied, largest market (both domestic and international) fanbases, and most egregiously, by recent leadership, towards disingenuous societal narratives, that lost them large amounts of their domestic fanbase.
