While it is a bad contract... gotta do what you gotta do to elongate Curry's Prime. Atleast it's just a two year contract. I doubt it'll get extended beyond that.

The butler extension isn't really an extension. He had a player option after this year and now he just declined his player option and signed a 2 year deal.

It really is just a 1 year extension.
