The fit is better IMO. Kyrie couldn't screen for Luka like LeBron will be able to. Nobody gets blitzed/trapped more than Doncic; LBJ is going to be murderous in the short roll. Like prime Draymond playing off Curry except way better.

Neither Lebron or Luka likes to catch and shoot and pretty much consider it beneath them, so that isn't a similar situation. Lebron as a roll guy would be interesting though, but I highly doubt that's going to happen.

What might happen and has to happen is for Luka's fat ass to pass the ball to Lebron on the break.

I agree a single playoff run doesnt mean 'everything' but considering they only played 2 years together... 1 finals run is a pretty good batting average.

Plus they've barely played this year before the trade. A finals run in one season playing together.... rest assured if OKC got to the finals last year and lost he'd slobber off him because SGA isn't on his hit list.

If Lebron actually plays off ball and dominates in that role they can win for sure. And that would be a major boost to his career since he usually doesn't play like that exactly.

Just remember that Karl Malone was assisted on 75% of his field goals and Lebron has never been above 45%.. That gap is the difference between fitting like a glove with ball-dominators like Stockton, and having the worst fit ever with a fellow ball-dominator like Westbrook, Ingram, Wade and many others.

And getting carried to a title by Luka shouldn't add to anyone's goat case, since the goat standard is a lot higher than that... It's similar to Lebron getting swept in the WCF and people acting like this adds to his goat case.

Kyrie's great at playing off-ball or going ISO, he had experience playing next to a guy like Luka in Cleveland.

In this case Lebron has experience playing with Wade, but Luka's more ball-dominant. They should fit because both can shoot the 3 but it will be interesting to see how much a 40 y.o Bron is gonna move off the ball.
