Interesting. I wonder what they're up to?
Thought he'd go to a good team, seems weird.

Not sure. Barrett, Ingram, Barnes.... weird mix. None of them are a SG, nor volume 3PT shooters.
I thought they traded Siakam because a forward logjam and they just created another one. TBH, I'm not even n sure Gradey is a true SG either. If they resign keep this core together they are a tax team too.

If they're still tanking then I'm not sure how a Flagg or Bailey fits into that logjam. Maybe they want Harper?

This is what they traded Siakam and Anunoby for? To build around Barret, Ingraham and Barnes?
Only good thing goin for the Raptors right now is theyll be part of America soon.

Not a stupid trade for Pelicans. Traded a guy they had no intention of resigning. Trey Murphy = Brandon Ingram anyway.

Fine to get rid of him but what are they going to do with Brown and Olynyk? They couldn't have done better than that?
But indeed, Trey Murphy = Ingram and I'm actually a lot higher on Murphy. He's a flat out stud.

Brown is expiring this year. Olynyk is a role player backup that is expiring next year. Good trade for NO.
I don't think they could get better for a guy who is still actively injured for the last 2 months, will be an UFA, and has no certain timeline for his return.

Decent value off Bruce Brown and a 1st-round pick.

Until it's not.
You are rooting for a team who had Kyrie/Harden/KD and failed. You shouldn't be talking at all.

If Ingram can stay healthy it's a good trade for Toronto. That hasn't been his history but it's not like they gambled major assets or were looking like a contender. If it doesn't work out he's a max expiring contract off their books. This wasn't a bad move for them.

It would be a pretty bad move if he barely plays the remainder of the season due to injury and then signs with the Pistons or some other team in the summer.
That would mean they flushed 2 picks just to get Olynyk off the books.

I'm not sure which pick it is but I don't believe they are giving up a shot at Cooper Flagg. If he walks and they can't even get in on a sign and-trade it won't be good but there is no franchise-altering asset here.

I'll reserve harsh judgement until they resign him and at what type of contract. He's been so injury prone anything close to the max will be difficult to comprehend.
